Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- Do not leave the iron unattended while hot, connected or on an ironing board.
- Place the device on a flat, even, and heat-resistant surface.
- CAUTION: hot surface. The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be hot when the device is in operation.
- Do not operate the appliance if it has dropped, if it shows visible signs of damage, or if it leaks.
- Do not pull on the power cable to disconnect the appliance
from the socket. Pull on the plug instead.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
- Avoid contact with the steam generated by the iron. Steam temperature is very high and can cause burns and other damage.
- Disconnect the iron from the power supply when filling or emptying water, or when not in use.
- The opening for filling water should not be open when you use the iron.
- Unplug the appliance immediately if fire or smoke is observed.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Unplug it from the power supply when you finish using it and before leaving the room.
- The appliance must not be plugged in when filling or emptying the water tank.
- The tank cap must not be open when the appliance is switched on.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- This device is designed to iron fabrics. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not use outdoors. Keeping
the iron at maximum temperature for too long may cause discolouration, which will not affect the performance of the appliance.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
- To ensure the correct operation of the device, cleaning and maintenance tasks must be carried out according to this instruction manual. Turn off and unplug the appliance before moving and cleaning it. Allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or storing it.
- Store the appliance and its instruction manual in a safe and dry place when not in use. Cecotec takes no responsibility for any damage caused by misuse of the machine. Any misuse or non-compliance with these instructions voids the warranty and Cecotec's liability.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance tasks should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.
- Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8 when it is plugged in or cooling down.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
Setting the temperature
- The device includes an NTC thermistor that detects the soleplate temperature and adjusts it if necessary.
- The sole temperature range is 135 to 160 □.
- The preheating time of the iron is 1 minute and 20 seconds: before activating the steam, it is advisable to let the iron preheat completely.
- Connect the appliance plug to an earthed socket.
- After plugging it into the mains, the iron will beep, the indicator will light up blue and the soleplate will start preheating. At the end of preheating, the indicator will illuminate RED.
Filling up the tank
- Unplug the iron before filling up the water tank.
- Fill the tank only with distilled or demineralised water. It is recommended not to use tap water or other liquids.
ENGLISH
- Fill the water tank without exceeding the maximum capacity.
Dry ironing
- When the indicator light changes from flashing blue to steady blue, it means that you can start ironing.
- For dry ironing, DO NOT press the steam button.
Steam ironing
- Fill up the water tank.
- When the indicator light changes from blue to red, it means that the iron has finished preheating and you can start ironing: press the steam button to make the soleplate emit steam.
- If the iron makes a sound when you press the steam button again, this means that you have pressed the button too many times in a row and the pump has stopped working.
- Turn the steam conversion knob to “💡”; this indicates that there is a strong steam ejection at the front of the iron. Turn the steam conversion knob to “💡”; this indicates that there is a large steam ejection area at the bottom of the iron.
Cleaning function
- Press and hold the steam button for 2 seconds to activate the cleaning function.
- Make sure there is enough water in the tank.
- Press the steam button repeatedly to start the pump and clean the soleplate of the iron.
- Press and hold the steam button again for 2 seconds to deactivate the cleaning function.
Auto switch-off
After 8 minutes of inactivity in vertical position or 30 seconds in horizontal position, the indicator light will flash red, 6 acoustic signals will be heard, and the iron will switch off automatically. To switch it on again, move it or shake it slightly: the iron will emit an acoustic signal to confirm that it has started up correctly.
Overheating protection function
If the soleplate temperature exceeds 260 °C , the indicator light will flash red and the iron will beep; if this happens, switch off and unplug the iron immediately.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing it.
- Clean the soleplate and the outer surface of the iron with a damp cloth. To avoid damaging the soleplate, avoid using hard or abrasive objects for cleaning.
- If the iron is dirty, you can clean it with a damp cotton cloth and a little neutral detergent. Do not use strong acidic or alkaline products.
- If limescale deposits form on the soleplate, remove them from the steam vents with a toothpick or similar.
- Before storing the appliance, allow the soleplate to cool down completely.
