How to install the turntable?

First place the rotating ring on the base, then insert the shaft in the center. Finally, place the glass plate on the shaft, making sure it rotates freely.

Which utensils can I use in the microwave?

Use containers made of glass, ceramic, microwave-safe plastic, or paper. Avoid metal, aluminum foil, and metallic decorative items.

What if the microwave does not heat?

Check that the door is properly closed, that the plug is connected, and that the fuse has not blown. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

Can I heat hard-boiled eggs in the microwave?

No, eggs with shells or hard-boiled eggs can explode even after cooking. It is not recommended to heat them in the microwave.

How to clean the inside of the microwave?

Wipe with a damp cloth after each use. For a deep clean, heat half a lemon in 300 ml of water for 10 minutes at full power.

Why is the lighting dim?

The lighting dims when you select a low power level. That is normal.

Can I run the microwave empty?

No, never run the microwave without food inside. This can damage the magnetron.

• Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwaves, since they may explode even after microwave heating has ended.
• Do not operate the microwave when empty.

• This microwave is not intended to be built-in or installed in furniture. It must be freely positioned ensuring the following separation distances:

• Top: at least 20 cm apart.

• Between the appliance and any adjacent wall: at least 5 cm.
• Rear: leave 10 cm of separation.

• From the microwave to the ground: 85 cm.

• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or by similarly qualified personnel to avoid hazards or injuries.

• Do not operate the microwave if it has a defective cord or plug or if it is not working properly. In case of malfunction or breakdown, please contact official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
• You must be careful to ensure that the turntable does not shift when the containers are removed from the appliance.
• Only use cookware that is suitable for microwave use. Make sure cookware does not touch the interior walls during operation.
• Do not use the appliance for storage purposes.
• Do not attempt to fry food in the microwave.
• In order to reduce fire risk:

A. Do not overcook food.

B. Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing them inside the microwave.

C. The microwave should be watched when heating food in plastic or paper containers.

- In case of smoke or fire inside the appliance, keep the door closed, turn the appliance off, and unplug it from the power supply.

- Do not place hot or frozen food or cookware on the turntable to prevent breakage.

- After operation, the container is likely to be very hot. Use gloves to avoid burns and injuries.

- The appliance must be cleaned regularly, and you must remove any food remains. You must clean the door gaskets, cavities, and adjacent parts of the microwave as indicated in the cleaning and maintenance section.

- The appliance cannot be cleaned with steam.

- Failure to keep the microwave clean could lead to deterioration of the surface and could adversely affect the shelf life of the appliance and cause hazards.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- This appliance is a Group 2 Class B ISM equipment. The definition of Group 2 which contains all ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) equipment in which radio-frequency energy is intentionally generated and/or used in the form of electromagnetic radiation for the treatment of material, and

spark erosion equipment. Class B equipment is suitable for domestic use and in establishments directly connected to a low voltage power supply network, which supplies buildings used for domestic purpose.

• Metal food and beverage containers must not be used during microwave cooking.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timers or separate remote-control systems.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. APPLIANCE INSTALLATION

Turntable installation (Fig. 2)

The turntable installation, with shaft and ring assembly, requires several steps.

1. First, the ring assembly must be positioned on the base of the microwave, making sure that it is correctly aligned and locked into place.
2. Then, the shaft must be placed at the centre of the ring assembly, checking that it is securely fastened and that it can rotate freely.
3. Once the ring assembly and shaft are in position, the bottom part of the turntable is placed on the shaft, making sure that it fits snugly against the shaft and can rotate smoothly.

NOTE: It is important to check that the turntable is levelled and centred for an optimal microwave operation.

1. Once everything is in place, you can switch on the microwave and use the turntable as needed.

NOTES:

• Never place the turntable upside down. The rotary motion of the turntable must never be blocked.
• The turntable, shaft and ring assembly must always be installed before starting the microwave.
• Food and containers must always be placed on the glass turntable.
• If the glass turntable or the turntable ring assembly cracks or breaks, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

Worktop installation

1. Remove all packing material and accessories.
2. Check the microwave to see if it is damaged.

NOTE: Do not install the microwave if it is damaged.

1. Remove any protective film from the surface of the microwave.

NOTE: Do not remove the mica plate protecting the magnetron inside the microwave cavity.

1. Place the microwave on a level surface. Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the

air inlet and outlet grilles.

1. The minimum installation height must be 85 cm.
2. The rear of the appliance must be placed against a wall. Leave a minimum clearance of 30 cm above the microwave. A minimum clearance of 20 cm is required between the microwave and adjacent walls.
3. Do not remove the feet from the bottom of the microwave.
4. Obstruction of the air inlet and outlet grilles could damage the microwave.
5. Place the microwave as far away from radios and TVs as possible. Using the microwave nearby may cause interference to your radio or TV reception.
6. Plug the microwave into a standard household socket. Make sure that the voltage and frequency match those on the rating label.

Warning: Do not install the microwave on top of heat-generating appliances or kitchen hobs. The accessible surface of the appliance can reach high temperatures during operation.

1. To adjust the cooking power, turn the power knob to the desired level.
2. To adjust the cooking time, turn the timer knob to the desired time according to the cooking guide.
3. The microwave will automatically start cooking after setting the power level and time.
4. Once the cooking time has finished, the appliance will beep.
5. If the appliance is not in use, always set the time to "0".

Note:

• When removing food from the microwave, make sure that the microwave is turned off by turning the time knob to the "0" position.
• If this is not done and the microwave is operated without food inside, overheating may occur, resulting in damage to the magnetron.

Container testing

Check the containers that are suitable for use. There are some non-metallic containers that are not suitable for microwave use. If in doubt, please contact your distributor.

Microwave-safe materials/containers

Browning dish	Follow the manufacturer's instructions. It must be at least 5 mm above the turntable, otherwise it may break.
Cookware	Suitable for microwaves only. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use chipped or cracked containers.
Glass jars	Always remove the lid. Use them only to slightly heat food. Most glass jars are not heat resistant and may break.
Glassware	Heat-resistant microwave glassware only. Make sure that there are no metallic decorative elements. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Oven/microwave cooking bags	Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use metal zips. Make slits to allow steam to escape.
Paper plates and cups	Use for short-term cooking/warming only. Do not leave microwave unattended while cooking.
Paper towels	Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat (under supervision and for a short time).
Vegetable paper	Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.
Plastic	Microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Some plastic containers soften, as the food inside gets hot. Cooking bags and plastic bags that are sealed must be perforated according to the instructions on the packaging.
Cling film	Microwave-safe only. Use it to cover food during cooking and retain moisture. Avoid contact with food.
Thermometers	Microwaveable only (meat thermometers and baking thermometers)
Wax paper	Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture.

Polystyrene foam	It may melt and contaminate the inside of the microwave when exposed to high temperatures.
Wood	Wood may dry out when used in the microwave and may crack or brake.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Be sure to unplug the appliance from the mains.

To clean the microwave, follow the instructions below:

1. After using it, wipe the inside of the microwave with a slightly damp cloth.

2. Wash the accessories with soap and water.

3. The frame, door seal and adjacent parts should be carefully cleaned with a damp cloth when dirty.
4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass on the door, as they may scratch the surface, which could cause the glass to break.
5. Cleaning Tip---For easy cleaning of the inside walls of the microwave: Put half a lemon in a bowl, add 300 ml of water and heat at 100% power in the microwave for 10 minutes. Clean the appliance with a soft and dry cloth.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Normal
Microwave interferes with TV signal	Radio and television signals may be interfered with when the microwave is in operation. The same applies to other small appliances such as blenders, vacuum cleaners and electric fans.This is normal.
Microwave light is dim	If you select a low power setting, the microwave light will dim. This is normal.
Steam builds up in the door and hot air escapes from the ventilation grilles	During cooking, steam comes out from food. Most of it will come out through the ventilation grilles. But it can accumulate in cold places such as the door. This is normal.
The microwave has been started without food in it.	It is not permitted to use the microwave without food inside. It is very dangerous.

Problem	Description	Solution
The appliance does not switch on	(1) The power cable is not plugged in correctly.	Unplug the appliance and plug it in again after 10 seconds.
	(2) Fuse blown or faulty residual current circuit breaker.	Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. If you need help, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
	(3) Problem with the socket.	Test the plug with another electrical appliance.
The appliance does not heat up.	(4) The door is not properly closed.	Close the door correctly.
