How to load paper in tray 1 (MPT)?
Open tray 1 by pushing the handle down and pulling. Slide the opening until it locks. Adjust the guides to the media size, place media face up, top of page first. Close the tray. The control panel may prompt you to confirm the type and size.

Make sure the duplex unit is installed (standard on Phaser 3500DN, optional on others). In the print driver, select the Layout or Page Setup tab, then choose Print on Both Sides with the desired binding orientation (long edge or short edge).
