How to install the toner on my Xerox Phaser 4500?

Open the front cover, remove the used cartridge, insert the new cartridge aligning it with the guides, then close the cover. The device will perform a calibration cycle.

What to do in case of a paper jam?

Open the front and rear covers, gently remove the jammed paper by pulling it in the direction of the paper path. Check for any torn pieces. Refer to the manual for more details.

How to connect the printer to the network?

Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port of the printer and to your router. Configure the IP address via the control panel or using the Xerox CentreWare utility.

What does the blinking orange light mean?

A blinking orange light usually indicates a minor error such as low toner, an imminent paper jam, or an improperly closed cover. Check the message on the screen.

How to replace the drum?

The drum is integrated into the toner cartridge on this model. Replace the entire cartridge/drum assembly. Follow the same procedure as for toner replacement.

Why are my prints faint?

Faint prints can be due to low toner or an enabled toner saving setting. Replace the cartridge or disable the Toner Saving mode in the print settings.

How to clean the printer?

Unplug the device. Use a slightly damp soft cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use solvents. For the interior, use a gentle vacuum cleaner or a can of compressed air.

What is the paper tray capacity?

The standard tray can hold up to 500 sheets of A4 paper. An auxiliary tray may be present for special media.

How to print in automatic duplex?

In the print settings of your software, select the 'Duplex' option. Make sure the printer is configured for automatic duplex printing.
