SAFETY AND OPERATION INFORMATION
- When using any electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be observed. • Use only on AC 230 V, 50 Hz.
- Always unplug the appliance immediately after use. To unplug the cord, grasp the plug – do not pull on the cord.
- Never put the Motor Unit (F) under a tap or in a dishwasher; clean it with a damp sponge.
- The Pusher (A), Cover (B), Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C), Filter Base (D), Pulp Container (E) and Juice Container (I) can be washed in a dishwasher or washed in the usual way under the tap. However, always beware of the blade, which might hurt your hands when washing.
- Handle carefully with the small blade on the Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C) and also the feed chute that has a sharp protrusion inside. They are extremely sharp. • Never touch the moving parts.
- Be sure the unit is completely assembled before using. Do not operate the unit without the Pusher (A), Cover (B), Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C), Filter Base (D), Pulp Container (E) and Juice Container (I) in place. • Always use the Pusher (A) to push food down the feed chute. Never use your fingers, or any utensil.
- Always use the appliance on a dry and level surface. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or any hot surface.
- Never run the Motor Unit (F) when it goes with accessory but without food.
- Never attempt to take food or liquid in to and/or out from the Juicer when the Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C) is moving. Always wait until the Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C) stop completely.
- For safety reasons and to avoid maintenance by unskilled persons. The appliance should always be returned to an approved Service Center only for adjustment or repair if required. • Use only the accessories provided in the UCJ-411 centrifugal juicer.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
WARNING – This appliance should be used according to the instructions. Abuse of using the machine will cause hazard. Care is needed when handling cutting blades, especially while cleaning.

Before you actually assemble and use your centrifugal juicer, please see the figures for the relevant description of parts shown below:

ASSEMBLE
- Place the Filter Base (D) on the top of the Motor Unit (F).
- Make sure to lock the Filter Base (D) by rotating it anti-clockwise and go as far as it can.
- Put the Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C) in the Filter Base (D). Make sure the Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C) is seated on the Gear (H).

- Place the Cover (B) onto the Stainless Steel Grater / Filter (C).
- Make sure the Safety Cover Lock is locked into the Locking Slot by rotating it anti-clockwise and go as far as it can.
- Slide the Pusher (A) down the feed chute by aligning the groove in the Pusher (A) with the small protrusion inside the feed chute.
- Attach the Pulp Container (E) under the Cover (B).
- Place the Juice Container (I) under the spout.


- When using for the first time, remove all packing materials and wash the parts with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Always make sure the appliance is properly and completely assembled before operating.
- Wash the fruit or vegetables and cut them into pieces that fit into the feed chute. Most fruit and vegetables such as apples, carrots and cucumbers will not need to be cut to size as these will fit into the extra large feed chute of this juicer.
- For fruits with hard or inedible skins such as melons, mango and kiwi fruit, always peel before juicing.
- Some fruit may have stones such as nectarines, peaches, apricots, plums and cherries must be removed the stones before extracting.
- A small amount of lemon juice can be added to apple juice to prohibit browning.
- Ensure to place the Juice Container (I) under the spout while juicing.
- Put the plug into a 230 V, 50 Hz power outlet.
- Switch the appliance on by pressing the On/Off Switch (G) to position "I" to start operation.
- With the motor running, place food down the feed chute. Use the Pusher (A) to push food down the feed chute. Never use your fingers or other utensils.
- Juice will flow out from the spout. Collect the juice with the Juice Container (I). The separate pulp will accumulate in the Pulp Container (E).
Note:
- Stop to empty the Pulp Container (E) whenever it is filled up with pulp. Do not allow the Pulp Container (E) overfill as this may damage the unit.
- The operation can be carried out for 7 minutes. Make sure that the juicer is not switched on continuously for longer than the time specified and also allow enough rest before next operation.
- Switch off the appliance before empty the Pulp Container (E).
CAUTION
- Always make sure the appliance is properly and completely assembled before operating.
- Do not try to move any parts of the juicer when they are still moving.
- The appliance is designed for extracting juice from fruit or vegetables only. Do not use it for blending, chopping, mincing, pureeing, slicing, or shredding any meat, nuts, fruit, or vegetables.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR CENTRIFUGAL JUICER
IMPORTANT: Never put the Motor Unit (F) under a tap or in a dishwasher; clean it with a damp sponge.
IMPORTANT: Handle the Stainless Steel Grater/Filter (C) and the feed chute (which has a sharp protrusion inside) with care when cleaning. They are extremely sharp.
- Turn the On/Off Switch (G) to the "0" position and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Slide the Pulp Container (E) out from the Cover (B).
- Unlock the Cover (B) from the Filter Base (D) by turning the Cover (B) clockwise. Lift off the Cover (B).
- Unlock the Filter Base (D) from the Motor Unit (F) by turning the Filter Base (D) clockwise.
- Lift off the Filter Base (D) from the Motor Unit (F).
- Remove the Stainless Steel Grater/Filter (C) from the Filter Base (D).
- Wash the Pusher (A), Cover (B), Stainless Steel Grater/Filter (C), Filter Base (D), Pulp Container (E), and Juice Container (I) in soapy water and rinse under running water.
- Dry them naturally.
- Wipe the Motor Unit (F) clean with a damp cloth; never immerse it in water.
