It is equipped with the following features:

- Humidifier: it produces "fresh" vapour, nebulising the air with very small particles that are diffused by the movement of the air. It is operated by turning the knob that turns the appliance on and off and that regulates the nebulisation.

a. in position "0" the appliance is not working

b. in position "min" the appliance is working: starts to spray after a few moments (160g/h).

c. in position "max". the nebulization is maximum (280g/h)

- Ozonation: generates (O ^-2 ) in the right quantity to purify the air, eliminate odours and bacteria; it is activated by pressing the “ozone” button.

- Aroma diffusor: diffuses a pleasant perfume of essential oils: just moisten the felt found in the base with a few drops of oil.

- Water softening: this function is performed by the filter found in the lid. It eliminates hard deposits in the water.

OPERATION

  1. Before operating the appliance, always ensure that it is not connected to the power supply. Remove the plug from the socket.

  2. To fill the receptacle (1): remove it from the base (2) and turn it over, unscrewing the lid (6) in an anticlockwise direction. Add demineralised or distilled water through the opening in the receptacle. The water should obviously be free from impurities, at room temperature and clean. Fill up to the maximum level indicated (the word MAX is printed on the opening as shown in the diagram). Close the lid in a clockwise direction, scaling it carefully.

Warning: do not add oils or other essences to the water in order to prevent damaging and compromising the appliance's performance.

  1. Place the receptacle on its base in the correct manner: ensure that the two arrows match up (on the base and on the receptacle, found at the back).

  2. Ensure that the knob is in the "0" position (off): and most importantly that the water has not overflowed.

5.Plug the appliance in.

  1. Turn the knob (3) in a clockwise direction to the "min" position and corresponding to the amount of nebulisation required: minimum, intermediate or maximum. After a few seconds, vapour will start forming.

  2. When the water runs out, the nebuliser will automatically stop: to fill up the receptable again, follow the instructions above in paragraphs 1, 2, 3 and 4.

  3. For ozonation, press the "ozone" button (9) completely. To stop it, press it again and release.

  4. To diffuse perfumes, extract the filter carrier from the base (11), moisten the felt (12) with a few drops of essential oils and insert the filter carrier once again in its proper place. Be careful not to add too much oil so as to prevent damage to the surface and the appliance itself. Do not add the essential oils to the water in the receptacle or inside the unit.

  5. In order to turn the appliance off, turn the knob to the "0" position, turning it in an anticlockwise direction and unplug the unit from the power source.

  6. After each use, empty out any water that may have collected in the tray inside the base and dry it using a soft cloth

If the device is not to be used for a long time, remove the plug from the electric outlet and make sure the tank and inside of the base are perfectly dry.

Warning: if you do not plan to use the appliance for two or more consecutive days, make sure that the tank and the tray have been completely drained. Dry them to prevent the formation of bacteria and algae in the stagnant water

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning: before cleaning the appliance ensure that it is turned off and unplug it from the power source.

Descaling

To prevent the formation of bacteria or deposits, and to increase the lifespan of the humidifier and its components (ceramic filter etc), remove any limescale deposits that may form (more frequently if the water is hard) or other impurities.

Ceramic filter (perform monthly)

  1. Remove the lid of the receptacle, unscrew the ferrule (5) from the filter (7) in an anticlockwise direction.

  2. Place the filter in a container with white vinegar (8 degrees) or a descaling agent for 10 minutes.

  3. Rinse the filter carefully under running water, and after allowing it to drip dry, screw it back onto the receptacle.

Receptacle (perform weekly)

b) Fill the receptacle with water and add 10/15 drops of white vinegar (8 degrees) or descaling agents. After 10 minutes, pour it out, rinse and dry the outside.

Main unit (perform weekly)

  1. Clean the inside of the tray with a soft cloth that has been moistened slightly with water and vinegar, then dry. Avoid using abrasive products that may scratch the surface. Do not wash under running water, do not immerse in water, do not wash in a dishwasher. Before using it again, ensure that it is completely dry.

  2. By not adhering to the maintenance and cleaning instructions, microorganisms could form in the water. The following cleaning instructions, therefore, should be carried out regularly in order to guarantee that the appliance will work correctly and efficiently.

- Do not immerse the appliance, its plug or electrical cable in water or other liquids.

• Periodically check the steam output orifice is not obstructed.

• To clean the body use a soft damp cloth; do not use abrasive products.

- A special tool is required to replace the electrical cord: contact an authorized service center, also for any repairs.

- If you decide not to use the appliance any more, we recommend making it inoperative by cutting the power cord (after making sure you have disconnected the plug from the socket) and make dangerous parts harmless if children are allowed to play with them.

- Do not dispose of non-biodegradable products in the environment but dispose of them in accordance with current law. At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
