Always observe the main safety measures when using electric units as below:

  • Use the fan heater according to its intended purpose only.
  • Before switching on the unit for the first time, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the unit body.
  • The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
  • Do not insert the plug into defective or worn-out sockets.
  • In order to avoid fire do not use adapters for plugging the unit in.

  • In order to avoid network overloading, provide that no other electrical appliances with higher power consumption are connected to the same outlet the fan heater is connected to.

  • Place the unit on a flat and steady surface.
  • Do not place the unit on a soft surface, for example, sofa or bed.
  • The distance between highly inflammable substances, curtains or furniture etc. and the front grid of the fan heater must be at least 0,9 m.
  • Avoid blocking the air inlet grid of the fan heater by any objects or room interior elements.
  • Do not switch the fan heater on in places where aerosols or highly inflammable liquids are used.
  • Do not cover the fan heater during operation.
  • Do not insert any foreign objects into the grids of the fan heater in order to avoid getting injuries or damaging the unit.
  • Do not use the fan heater in a limited space (for example, in built-in cabinets or wall niches - for tubes defrosting or to prevent them from freezing).
  • Do not use the unit outdoors.
  • Do not leave the operating fan heater unattended.
  • Do not leave the fan heater switched on when sleeping.
    • Unplug the unit if it is not used.
    • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Before removing the plug from the socket set the operation modes switch to the position "OFF".
  • When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but not the cord.
  • Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.

  • Do not use the unit in bathrooms or in rooms with high humidity.

- In «ECO» mode you can set the air temperature that the unit will maintain in the room when operating. Switch on the unit by pressing the button (11) and pressing the button (14), choose «ECO» mode, icons (15) and (18) will light up on the display, and the room air temperature will be shown. Pressing buttons (13) «+» «-» you can set necessary room air temperature from +16oC to +32oC. When the air temperature in the room decreases for about 3 degrees, the unit will switch on automatically into the air heating mode, in case of exceeding the set air temperature by about 3 degrees the unit will switch off.

- To ventilate the room, choose the «Fan» mode «♣» by pressing operating mode selection button (14), the icon (16) will light up on the display (3). In this mode the room is not heated.

- The unit has “Anti-freeze” mode, which switches on at significant decrease of air temperature in the room. Pressing the operating mode selection button (14), choose the «Anti-freeze» mode, the icons (18, 19) will light up on the display and the preset temperature of automatic unit switch-on +7oC will be shown. The fan heater will switch on automatically if the air temperature in the room is below +7°C.

Note: Before choosing the «Anti-freeze» mode, set the necessary operation mode, for example, air heating or ventilation, see the description of operation modes above.

  • To switch on the fan heater oscillation function while operating, press the button (10), to switch off this function press the button (10) again.
  • You can set the operation time using the timer, while the unit is operating. Press button (12) to switch on the timer function, the icon (17) will light up on the display (3). Pressing the buttons (13) «+» «-» set the

switch-off time of the unit (possible time of operation from 0,5 to 24 hours).

- When the unit is switched off, but the power cord (8) plug is in the socket, you can set the necessary time of delayed start. To switch on this function, press the button (12), an icon (17) will light up on the display (3), by pressing buttons (13) «+» «-» set up the unit switch on time. You can set the delayed start time within the range between 0,5 and 24 hours.

Attention! Before using the delayed start function you should choose the necessary operation mode by pressing the button (14), for example, switch on «ECO» mode (see switching on «ECO» mode above).

- After the finishing the operation of the fan heater press the On/Off button (11), there will be a long sound signal, and the time left before the switching off (6 seconds) will appear on the display (3). After this time the unit will switch off.

Notes:

  • While the first switching the heating element burns, therefore occurrence of a small amount of smoke or extraneous smell is possible, it is normal.
  • The fan heater has “tip-over switch” (button (9) on the lower lid of the unit body), so if you lift the fan heater you’ll hear a distinctive click, which indicates the normal operation of the tip-over switch.
  • Do not open windows or doors when the fan heater is operating. There should be good heat-insulation in the room; otherwise you will not get the desired results, due to cold air flow.

Using the Remote control

Attention!

Functions of the buttons on the remote control fully correspond to the buttons on the control panel.

  • to replace the batteries open the battery compartment lid of the remote control by turning the lid to «OPEN» position with a help of, for example, a coin and remove old batteries, then insert a new CR2032 battery.
  • Close the battery compartment lid, matching the arrow on the lid with a mark «OPEN»; turn the lid to «CLOSE» position.

Function of automatic emergency switch-off

The fan heater is equipped with function of automatic emergency switch-off. If the unit starts overheating, automatic thermal switch will be on.

  • In this case the unit will switch off automatically.
  • Remove the power cord (8) plug from the socket.
  • Make sure that the air inlet and outlet grids are not blocked and nothing prevents air flow.
  • Let the unit cool down for approximately 20 minutes before switching it on again.
  • Plug the unit into the mains and switch it on pressing the button (11). If the unit does not switch on, it may mean that there are other damages in the unit. In this case contact the authorized service center for check or repair.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Before cleaning the unit switch it off by pressing the button (11) and remove the power cord (8) plug from the socket.
  • Do not use liquid detergents, abrasives and any solvents, for example, acetone, to clean the unit.
  • To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock provide that water or other liquid does not get into the fan heater body.
  • Wipe the unit body with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry. To remove dust from the grids use a vacuum cleaner with a corresponding attachment.
    • After cleaning put the fan to a dry cool place away from children for storage.
  • Before starting the unit check the technical condition of the unit, the power cord plug and the power cord (8) insulation.

Cleaning the filter (6)

  • Remove the inlet filter grid (7).
  • Remove the filter (6), wash it and dry.
  • Install filter (6) back in its place.
