How to install the AVerMedia C875 on my computer?

Connect the USB cable to a USB 3.0 port on your PC, then connect the HDMI source (console, camera) to the HDMI input of the card. Download and install the RECentral software from the AVerMedia website.

What is the maximum supported resolution?

The card captures up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. It does not support 4K or 60 fps.

Can I use the AVerMedia C875 for live streaming?

Yes, it is compatible with streaming software like OBS Studio or XSplit. You need to select the card as the video source.

Why is the displayed image in black and white?

Check that the HDMI source uses an unprotected HDCP signal. The card cannot capture protected content. If the source is a console, disable HDCP in the settings.

Step 1: Slide the switch on the front of the device to the LEFT. The LED indicator glows solid BLUE when the device is ready.

Step 2: According to your video/audio source, choose one of the connections below.

Installation (PC-Free Mode)

Step 1: Slide the switch on the front of the device to the RIGHT. The LED indicator glows solid RED when the device is ready.

- For the first-time using, in order to get correct time displayed for recordings, please connect Live Gamer Portable to your computer on which the driver is installed under the PC Mode to auto update time.

Step 2: According to your video/audio source, choose one of the connections below.

- When two or more sources are hooked up at the same time, Live Gamer Portable will auto-detect the input source with priority order of 3.5mm Audio > Component > HDMI. To select HDMI as the input source, please remove the component cable.
