How to pair the remote control with my Abus receiver?

Refer to your receiver's manual. Generally, press the learn button on the receiver, then press a button on the remote within 10 seconds. A flashing indicator confirms the memorization.

How to replace the battery of the FUBE50011 remote control?

Open the casing by sliding the cover or using a coin. Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 battery (mind the polarity). Close the casing.

What is the maximum range of this remote control?

The range can reach up to 30 meters in open field, but it may be reduced by obstacles (walls, metal).

What to do if the remote control stops working?

First check the battery. Replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, reset the remote and redo the pairing. Contact Abus customer service if needed.

Can I use this remote control for a sliding gate?

Yes, if the gate motor is compatible with the 433 MHz frequency and the Abus Rolling Code protocol. Check compatibility in your operator's manual.

How many remote controls can be stored on the receiver?

The maximum number of storable remote controls depends on the receiver. Refer to its manual. Generally, it is possible to store several remote controls (up to 20 or more).

Is the remote control waterproof?

It has an IP44 protection rating, which protects against splashes, but it must not be immersed.

How to erase a remote control from the receiver's memory?

Procedure varies by receiver. In general, press and hold the learn button (10 seconds) to erase all remote controls, or perform a specific sequence described in the manual.

Is the FUBE50011 remote control compatible with older Abus receivers?

It is backward compatible with most Abus receivers using Rolling Code. Check the frequency (433 MHz) and protocol on your receiver.

What to do if the remote control indicator flashes weakly?

This usually indicates a low battery. Replace the CR2032 battery as soon as possible to avoid loss of function.

This document refers to the V1.3 software version of the wireless remote control.

Information on the battery

The device is supplied with direct current from a 3V lithium battery. To guarantee a long service life and avoid fire and injury, please note the following:

• Do not dispose of the battery in domestic waste.
• The battery must not be directly exposed to heat or sunlight, and must not be stored in a place with a very high temperature.
• The battery must not be burned.
• The battery must not come into contact with water.
• The battery must not be dismantled, pierced or otherwise damaged.
• The battery contacts must not be short-circuited.
• The battery must be kept away from small children.
• The battery cannot be recharged.

The wireless remote control is used for arming and disarming alarm systems. It indicates the current status of the alarm system. A switching output can also be armed as an option. The wireless remote control has a panic feature. This can also be used for controlling 868 MHz transceivers in the Secvest/Terxon product range.

Operation

Inserting or changing the battery

Before the wireless remote control can be used, the battery has to be inserted. When inserting the battery, all the LED pairs light up red and green one after another which show that all the LEDs are working properly.

Reading the software version

The software version of the remote control is then shown by the two LEDs at the top. The main version is shown by the flashing red LED and the sub version is shown by the flashing green LED.

Learning in

Follow the steps described in the user guide for the compatible component. The “*” button can be used for “arming internally” or for switching an output.
