The appliance cools down to as much as approx. 20^ C below ambient temperature.
Operation mode selector switch

The cooling function is switched on.
0 The appliance is switched off.

The appliance is in ‘keep-warm’ mode.
Voltage selector switch
The voltage selector switch setting must correspond to the power source currently being used. Always ensure that the switch is in the correct position before the cool-box is connected to any power source.

AC power – for 230V mains operation, the voltage selector must be set to AC voltage.

DC power – for operation from a 12V power source, the voltage selector must be set to DC voltage.
Indicator lights
The ‘cooling’ function is indicated by the green light.
The red indicator light shows that the 'keep-warm' function is enabled.
Lid
The lid can be locked by folding the carrying handle over towards the hinged side of the lid. To unlock, move the handle to the opposite side.

Hints
Cooling
To achieve optimum cooling, the cool-box should be filled with pre-chilled food and/or beverages. The food and beverages will then be kept cool or be cooled down even further. With warm or non-chilled food and beverages, the cooling process will take considerably longer.
Keeping warm
Using the keep-warm function, food and beverages may be kept warm. Again, warming up cold food and beverages will take some considerable time.
12V connection:
When the 12V cigarette lighter socket is used to power the cool-box, it should not be left connected for more than 2 hours with the vehicle engine switched off. This is to prevent the vehicle battery from over-discharging. With the engine running, the cool-box may be left connected for an unlimited time.
