USER MANUAL GL-289R Imarflex
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
- Before using the unit, move it two to four inches away from the wall. Remove any object that may have been on top of the unit.

Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.

Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.

Do not place on or near gas stove, electric stove or in a heated oven.

Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Do not use accessories not recommended or sold with this unit.

Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the unit and from the convenience outlet where the unit is plugged.

Extreme caution must be taken in moving an appliance containing hot oil or liquids.

Do not use this unit other than its intended use.

Do not use metal scouring in cleaning the unit.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit in water.

CAUTION: Never leave the unit unattended while cooking.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

Skewers HEAT OFF TIME OFF TIME HEAT OFF HEAT Selector Light Indicator Timer 20 25 20 Fish Grill Base Skwer Holder Stone Plate Drip Tray Grill RackASSEMBLY
- Place the unit on a flat surface.
- Place the Drip Tray under the Heater. Be sure that it is properly fixed.
- Pull the Skewer Holder up until it positions properly. (See pic.1)
- Place the Skewers on the unit aligning the end of the Skewers/Barbecue Stick into the Hole on the unit. (See pic.2)
- To use the Grill Racks/Stone Plates, simply remove the Skewers and return the Skewer Holder into its original position
- Place the Grill Racks/Stone Plate on the unit.

HOW TO USE
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
- Pull the Drip Tray and pour water to reduce smoke while cooking. Do not pour water on the heating element.
- Adjust the Heat Selector to desired cooking function.
- Turn ON the Timer and preheat the unit for at least 2-5 minutes.
NOTE: For initial use, some smoke may be observed when the unit is turned ON, this is normal.
- Use the Skewers or Barbecue Stick (for Auto Rotating barbeque function).
NOTE: When using an ordinary Barbecue stick, simply cut the pointed part for balance rotation.

Select Low (half power) or High (full power) on the Heat Selector for auto rotate barbecue. (See pic.3)

Use the Grill Rack for grilling steaks, Fish Grill for fish and seafood's, and the Stone Plate for sizzling etc. sisig.

Set the Heat Selector to High. (See pic.4)
NOTE: On this setting rotisserie will not function.

Set the Timer to desired cooking time. After the set cooking time the unit will automatically shut off.

Turn OFF and unplug the unit after use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
- Allow the unit to cool before putting ON or taking OFF parts and before cleaning.
- Grill Rack, Fish Grill, Stone Plate, Skewers and Drip Tray are washable with soap and water.
- Always clean the unit every after use.
- Do not immerse the Base with Heating Element in water. Wipe it with damp cloth.
- Dry all parts before storing the unit.
- Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
