Sensitive CONTROL PANEL

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Do not use the appliance on any metal table.

Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the appliance and from the convenience outlet where the appliance is plugged.

Before using the appliance, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.)

Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the appliance to the nearest Authorized Service Center.

Do not use a two-way socket with another appliance.

Do not place the unit near a gas stove, an electric burner, in a heated oven or near any hot surface.

Do not touch the appliance and the power plug with wet hands.

Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
- Do not place any metal kitchen utensils, knives or other metal objects on the appliance. These may heat up when the appliance is turned on.
- Do not place any magnetic objects on the grill plate while the appliance is in use.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit and the thermostat control in water or any other liquids.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by the person responsible for the safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Extreme caution must be taken in moving an appliance containing hot oil or liquids.

Make sure that the unit is unplugged before replacing or removing any of its parts or accessories.

Do not touch the appliance while cooking is in progress.

- CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:

CONTROL PANEL:

HOW TO ASSEMBLE:
- For first time use, remove all packaging materials before use.
- Place the unit on a flat stable surface.
- Make sure that the built-in fan is properly placed in the unit body.
- Place the oil / water tray inside the unit body properly (it should be steady) and pour 2 cups of water.
- Place the drip tray above the oil / water tray followed by the heating element.
*Note:
- Arrows in the drip tray should be facing right.

Failure to place the heating element properly, the unit will not work.
-
Choose the desired attachment (griller or skillet) and put it on the top of the heating element.

Assemble the Glass lid cover properly. Refer to the photo below

- Insert the power cord on the unit body.
HOW TO REMOVE THE BUILT-IN FAN:
- Make sure to unplug the unit before removing the built-in fan.
- Turn over the base unit and loosen the screw (located in the fan cover).
- Slide and remove the fan cover.
- Lift the fan out of the base unit.

HOW TO USE:
- Assemble the unit (please refer to 'HOW TO ASSEMBLE').
- Make sure to pour 2 cups of water on the oil / water tray to reduce smoke while cooking.
*Note: Do not pour water on the heating element and built-in fan. - Place the unit on a flat stable surface. The unit needs at least 10 cm clearance space on all sides and at least 30 cm above. This is to allow adequate air circulation. Never place the unit near the stove.
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet. A beep sound will be heard and the ON/OFF light indicator will be flashing to indicate that the unit is ON.
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn ON the unit. The ON/OFF light indicator will be solid to indicate that the unit is in standby mode.

Press the FAN button for smoke-free cooking. A beep sound will be heard and the FAN light indicator will light up to indicate that the FAN is ON.
*Note: It is advisable to use the FAN to prevent grease build up. -
Preheat the unit for 5 minutes at 230°C.

After preheat, select the desired temperature by pressing ▲ and ▼ button. Temperature is from WARM to 230°C.
*Note:
- It is normal that the temperature light indicator keeps flashing, it will gradually become solid when it reaches the set temperature.
- For best cooking result, kindly use low (120°C) to medium (180°C) heat to avoid burnt food, a very high temperature can also cause discoloration and shorten the life span of any plate surface. If higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium to high (180°C to 230°C) heat for a few minutes.
- Put the food on the grill / skillet plate and place the glass lid if needed.
*Note:
- It is advisable to use the glass lid for smoke-free cooking.
- Do not touch the grill / skillet plate when cooking, grill / skillet plate gets very hot and may cause burn or injuries.
- Turn OFF and unplug the unit after every use.

*Note: Cooking time may vary on type and the amount of food to be cooked.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
- Turn OFF the temperature control and unplug from the convenience outlet after every use.
- Allow the unit to cool down before replacing or removing parts and before cleaning.
- Remove the power cord from the unit body.
- Grill / skillet plates, drip tray, oil / water tray and glass lid are washable with soap and water and dishwasher safe.
- Unit body is washable with a warm, damp cloth and mild cleaning liquid.
*Note: Do not forget to remove the built-in fan before cleaning the unit body. Please refer to 'HOW TO REMOVE THE BUILT-IN FAN'.

Do not immerse the built-in fan, heating element and control panel in water or any other liquid.

Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
