Information for these operating instructions
These operating instructions are a component of the sports headphones KH 2350 and provides you with important information for intended use, safety, installation and connection as well as operation of the sports headphones.
Keep these operating instructions and hand them over with the sports headphones to any future owners.

Proper use
Use of these sports headphones is intended for the non-commercial listening of audio material. Any other or unintended use is regarded as improper use and can lead to damages. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be accepted.
Safety instructions
For safe handling of the device observe the following safety information:
Before use check the sports headphones for visible external damage. Do not operate damaged or dropped sports headphones.
Damaged cables or connections should be replaced by authorized qualified personnel or by the customer service department.
- Persons who, due to their physical, intellectual or motor abilities, are incapable of operating the sports headphones safely must only use them under the supervision or direction of a responsible person.
Only permit children to use the sports headphones under supervision.
Repairs to the sports headphones should only be carried out by authorized specialist personnel or by the customer service department. Incorrect repairs can result in danger for the user. In addition warranty claims become void.
A repair to the sports headphones, during the warranty period, may only be carried out by a customer service department authorized by the manufacturer otherwise no additional warranty claims can be considered for subsequent damages.
Defective components may only be replaced with original replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts can you guarantee that the safety requirements are complied with.
Do not undertake any unauthorised reconstruction or modifications to the sports headphones.
- Protect the sports headphones from moisture and liquid penetration.
Do not use the sports headphones in the vicinity of open flames.

Danger of hearing damage
WARNING

Danger as a result of extreme sound levels!
Loud music can lead to hearing damage.
- Avoid extreme sound levels, especially over long periods of time, when you are using these sports headphones.
Accident hazard
WARNING
Danger through impaired perception!
Acoustical warning and indication signals and environmental noises can sound different when you are wearing these sports headphones. Make yourself aware of how these signals deviate in their sound so that you can recognise the signals in the corresponding situations.
Do not use the sports headphones when operating an automobile, bicycle or in any other situation in which environmental sound impaired perception could present a danger to yourself or others.
Initial use
WARNING
Pakaging materials may not be used as playthings. There is a risk of suffocation!

The sports headphones are delivered with the following components as standard:
- Sports headphones with pre-installed ear cushions (medium size) ①

NOTE
Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for visible damage.
If the contents are not complete or are damaged due to defective packaging or through transportation contact the service hotline (see chapter "Warranty and service").
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the device from transport damage.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces generated waste.
Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed according to regionally established regulations.

Operation
Exchanging the ear cushions
When delivered the sports headphones are provided with medium size ear cushions. Depending on the size of your ear cup you can use ear cushions of another size from those supplied.
With your fingers carefully pull on the ear cushions to detatch them from the sports.
- Select from the supplied ear cushions ones that are suitable for your use. Push these directly onto the ear clips until they slip into the recesses on the ear clips.
Putting on the sports headphones
When putting the sports headphones on observe the indicators "R" (right) and "L" (left) on the side of the earpieces.
- Slide the hoop of the sports headphones behind your ear cup and gently press the ear cushion into your ear.
■ Proceed in the same way to put on the other sports.
Connecting the sports headphones
The sports headphones are equipped with a 3.5mm jackplug. Many consumer electronic devices are provided with a corresponding headphones socket. In the event that your audio device has been provided with a different connection for headphones you can use, if necessary, a suitable adapter (not supplied).
Troubleshooting
Malfunction causes and remedies
The following table will help with localizing and remedying minor malfunctions:

| No sound is coming from the sports headphones. | The volume control of the play-back device is set to minimum volume. Increase the playback volume. |
| The 3.5 mm jackplug is not fully inserted into the playback device's headphones socket. Plug the 3.5 mm jackplug fully into the socket. | |
| Sound is only coming from one side of the sports headphones. | The 3.5 mm jackplug is not fully inserted into the playback device's headphones socket. Plug the 3.5 mm jackplug fully into the socket. |
| The Stereo-Balance-Control on the playback device is incorrectly adjusted. Adjust it to the setting you desire. |
NOTE
If the malfunction can not be remedied with the described solution proposals or if other types of malfunctions occur please contact our service department (see warranty and service).

Cleaning
IMPORTANT
Do not allow any liquids to penetrate inside the sports headphones. This can lead to irreparable damage to them.
Clean the sports headphones with a slightly damp cloth.
- Remove the ear cushions for cleaning. Clean the ear cushions under running water. Dry the ear cushions well. Replace the ear cushions over the ear clips only after they have completely dried.
Storage
Store the ear clip headphones in a dry environment.
Disposal

Under no circumstances should you throw the device into the normal household waste. This product is subject to the European directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Warranty
You receive a 3-year warranty for this device as of the purchase date. This device has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please get in touch, by telephone, with our service department. Only in this way can a post-free dispatch for your goods be assured.
NOTE
The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for transport damage, wear and tear or for damage to fragile components, e.g. switches or rechargeable batteries.
This product is for private use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal modifications not carried out by our authorized Service Centre. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended through repairs made under warranty. This applies also for replaced or repaired parts. Any damages or deficiencies found on purchase must be reported as soon as possible after unpacking, at the latest two days after purchase. On expiry of the warranty, all repairs carried out are subject to payment.
