IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this instruction thoroughly before fitting the tray.

This product is recommend to be fitted by a workshop or qualified mechanical person.

WARNINGS

  • Before installation, make sure that the vehicle is stationary and the wheels chocked.
  • Be careful when laying wires, not to cause any electrical shorts or wire breakage.
  • After installation ensure the bonnet can close without hitting the newly installed battery and battery tray.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make sure that the vehicle is stationary, the engine is switched off and cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminals from the main battery.
  2. Your Auxiliary tray will be located between the passenger side headlight and air cleaner. Remove the rear M8 bolt with large flange located on inner guard where you will locate tray, in between the headlight and air cleaner and retain.
  3. Move wiring loom from the same position.
  4. Remove Computer mounting bracket from inner guard.
  5. Remove wiring and relay from bracket.
  6. Remove computer from bracket by removing 2 x M6 nuts and removing hold down bracket.
  7. Bolt computer to new computer mount, using top clamp.

  1. Bolt computer mount to side of tray using 2 x M6 bolts Countersunk and M6 Whizlocks.

  1. Install battery tray into position. Bolt the tray in.

  1. Replace M8 bolt from step 2 through bottom bracket into guard.
  2. Place two M6 Hex bolts in upper bracket into the exiting captive nuts.
  3. Cable tie relay securely to wiring loom.
  4. Cable tie wiring to tray.
  5. Place battery in tray.

  1. Fit the J bolts and line up the Special top mount with the radiator support. Mark and drill 6mm hole through the support.
  2. Fit and tighten M6 Hex Bolt and Whizlock underneath. Tighten Nuts on the J bolts.
  3. Reconnect the negative battery terminal to the main starter battery or install the desired Dual Battery System. Before closing the bonnet make sure the battery, tray and J bolts do not hit the bonnet.
