Frequently Asked Questions - EVO-16T Evolar

How do I assemble the Evolar EVO-16T fan?
First, click the chassis into the base and screw it from below. Then remove the spinner and plastic nut from the motor shaft. Insert the blade onto the shaft, ensuring the stopper pin clips into the groove, and tighten the spinner counterclockwise. Finally, attach the front guard over the rear guard and push all safety clips into place.
How do I adjust the fan speed?
Use the speed switches on the base. Press the button for the desired speed: 0 for off, 1 for low, 2 for medium, and 3 for high.
How does the oscillation function work?
Press the oscillation button located on top of the motor housing. The fan will start oscillating left and right. Press again to stop oscillation or to lock the head at a desired position.
Can I tilt the fan head?
Yes. Loosen the tilt knob, adjust the fan head to the desired angle, then tighten the knob securely.
What should I do if the fan overheats?
The fan has a built-in thermostat that automatically cuts power if the motor exceeds safe temperature. If this happens, unplug the fan and let it cool down. Check for obstructions and ensure proper ventilation before restarting.
How do I clean the fan?
Always unplug the fan before cleaning. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the rear vents. Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with water (not dripping). Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow water to enter the motor housing.
Can I replace the power cord myself?
No. If the power cord is damaged, the fan must not be used. Contact a qualified technician or the supplier for replacement. Never attempt to repair the fan yourself.
What type of power supply does the fan need?
The fan requires a 220V, 50Hz power supply. Ensure your outlet matches these specifications.
Is the Evolar EVO-16T safe to use around children?
The fan should be used with caution. Do not allow children to insert fingers or objects through the grille. Always supervise children near the fan and unplug it when not in use.
