To get the most out of your new wet/dry vacuum cleaner, please read these instructions and the enclosed safety instructions before use. Please also keep the instructions in case you need to refer to them at a later date.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Take extra care when vacuuming stairs due to the risk of falling.

• Do not use for vacuuming up matches, hot ashes, cigarette butts, hard or sharp objects, flammable materials (petrol, solvents etc) or fumes from the same.
• Do not use for vacuuming up harmful dust.
• Do not cover suction/exhaust ports. Keep clothes, hair and limbs clear of the suction inlet.
• Never tilt the vacuum cleaner.
• Avoid running over power cable with the vacuum cleaner.
• Do not use on animals or people.

PREPARATION

Check that the plug is disconnected from the mains.

• Unfasten the lock tabs (7) on the vacuum base (8).
• Lift the top (6) off.
• Remove the dust bag when using as a wet vacuum cleaner.
• When using as a dry vacuum cleaner, fit a fabric or paper dust bag.
• Place the top over the base and fasten with the lock tabs.
• Fit the short nozzle to the hose (3) at the hose connector (4) on the front of the base. To remove the hose, press the button on the top of the short nozzle, and pull the hose out. Take hold of the short nozzle so you are not pulling on the hose itself.
  • Fit the plastic tube (2) to the handle on the hose, and fit the required nozzle (b, c, d) to the plastic tube.

If no nozzle is to be used on the hose, it can be used to vacuum water or sludge up from a blocked drain, washbasin etc.

USE

WET VACUUMING

Check that the dust bag has been removed. The dust bag is NOT suitable for wet vacuuming!

• Insert the plug in a mains socket. Switch on using the on/off button (5). Adjust the suction strength by opening or closing the air intake on the top of the handle.
  • Empty and dry the tank when finished.
• Switch off using the on/off button.
• Disconnect from the mains. Unfasten the lock tabs, remove the top and pour water and sludge out of the tank. Dry inside with a dry cloth and reassemble.

DRY VACUUMING

Check that the dust bag has been fitted. The dust bag is ONLY suitable for dry vacuuming.

Note! The tank and dust bag must be completely dry.

• Insert the plug in a mains socket. Switch on using the on/off button. Adjust the suction strength by opening or closing the air intake on the top of the handle.
• Empty the dust bag when full. Switch off using the on/off button. Disconnect from the mains. Unfasten the lock tabs, remove the top and remove the full bag.
  • Empty the dust bag.

Allow to dry completely before replacing it in the vacuum cleaner.

BLOWING

You can use the vacuum cleaner for blowing if you set the short nozzle of the hose in the air blowing hole on the top of the vacuum cleaner.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Empty water and sludge from the tank or empty and wash the dust bag.
• Clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
• Do not use strong, caustic or abrasive cleaning solutions.

- The fabric dust bag can be washed in soapy water. Replace the fabric dust bag every 3 years at least.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

When disposing of the product's packaging, observe the local instructions given for garbage disposal and recycling, depending on the material.

The device cannot be disposed of with the ordinary waste, it should be delivered to a separate waste collection point. More information at www.serty.fi (Finland)

WARRANTY

The product has a 12-month warranty, counted from its purchase date.

The importer is responsible for the replacement of any faulty device or its parts, due to any error originated from their material and manufacturing, if during inspection, they are found faulty.

When demanding the warranty, the buyer should present the payment receipt, purchase invoice, warranty certificate or dispatching list.

The product should be wholly returned, with an account of its malfunctions.

The warranty will be void if the machine has been opened, repaired, had its parts replaced or its structure modified. The warranty is not valid for professional or leasing use.

The warranty will not cover accidents caused by normal wear, incorrect use or abuse. The warranty will not cover shipment, damage caused by shipment or any indirect expenses.

The warranty repair only can be performed by the service appointed by the importer.
