How to assemble the appliance for chopping?

Insert the bowl into the motor unit by turning counterclockwise. Place the knife on the axle, then the lid by turning until it locks.

How to assemble the appliance for grating or slicing?

Place the bowl on the motor, insert the expeller disc, then the grating/slicing disc. Finally, put the disc lid on and lock by turning.

How to use the appliance for chopping?

After assembly, add food into the bowl, lock the lid, plug in and press the switch. Release to stop. Wait for complete stop before removing the lid.

How to use the appliance for grating or slicing?

Place a container under the outlet, plug in, introduce food through the feed tube, press the switch and push with the pusher. Stop and wait for the discs to stop before opening.

Which foods not to chop or slice?

Do not use for coffee, ice cubes, sugar, rice, spices, bones, cheese, tomatoes, lemons, dates, peaches or frozen products. Remove bones, tendons and nerves from meat.

Can I use the appliance continuously?

No, each use must not exceed 1 minute. Then, let the appliance cool for 5 minutes before restarting.

How to clean the appliance?

Unplug and disassemble. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth (do not immerse). Wash removable parts with warm soapy water or in the dishwasher.

What to do in case of malfunction?

Turn off and do not attempt to repair yourself. Contact an authorized technical support service and insist on original spare parts.

How to avoid cuts from the blades?

Hold the knife only by the axle and the discs by the edge. Wait for complete stop before removing parts. Unplug before changing blades.

Do not let children play with it. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced capabilities without supervision.

3. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Before using this appliance for the first time, read the following instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Make sure that the mains voltage in your home corresponds to that indicated on the appliance.
• In the event of incompatibility between the mains socket and the appliance plug, replace the socket with a suitable one, using a qualified professional.
• The electrical safety of the appliance is only guaranteed if it is connected to an efficient earth installation, as foreseen in applicable electrical safety regulations. If in doubt, contact a qualified professional.
• The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and or extension cables is not recommended. Where it is not possible to avoid their use, only adaptors or extensions that comply with applicable safety regulations should be used, and ensuring that the indicated voltage limit is not exceeded.
  • After removing the packaging, check

that the appliance is in perfect condition, if in doubt, contact the nearest Technical Support Service.

• Packaging elements (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, etc.), should not be left within the reach of children because they can be dangerous.
• The appliance is for domestic use only. Any other use is considered unsuitable or dangerous.
• The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any damages that may arise from improper or inadequate use, or for repairs conducted by non-qualified personnel.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
• Keep the appliance separate from water or other liquids, to avoid electric shock; do not connect the appliance to the mains if it is on a damp surface.
• Place the appliance on a dry, firm and stable surface.
• Do not allow children or the disabled to handle the appliance unsupervised.
• This appliance should not be used by physically, sensorially or mentally handicapped people or people without experience or knowledge of it (including children), unless they are supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be watched to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• For greater protection, we recommend installing a residual current device (RCD) with an operational residual current not exceeding 30 mA. Ask your installer for advice.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is turned on because it can be dangerous.
• When removing the plug never pull on the cable.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.

• In the event of fault or malfunction where the appliance is not to be used, turn off the appliance and do not attempt to repair. If a repair is required, contact a Technical Assistance Service authorised by the manufacturer and request the use of original spare parts.

• If the cable for this appliance is damaged, contact an authorised Technical Assistance Service for it to be replaced.

• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the elements (rain, sun, ice, etc.).
• Do not use or let any part of the appliance come into contact or near hot surfaces (kitchen gas or electric hobs or ovens).
• Do not use detergents or abrasive sponges to clean the appliance.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the handles.
• Do not let the cable come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
• Make sure that the motor has completely stopped before changing blades.
• Hold the blade by the shaft and the disks on the outside to avoid cutting yourself.
• Disconnect the appliance before removing and changing the cutting tools.
• Do not remove the cover until the blades have stopped turning.
• Place a container under the opening where the food will come out when working with the slicing and shredding disk.
• Do not work with the knife or the disk for more than 1 minute at a time. After 1 minute in operation, let it cool for 5 minutes.
• Do not try to cut hard foods, such as coffee, ice cubes, sugar, rice, spices, etc.
• Remove the bones and cartilage before putting meat in the beaker.
• Do not cut or shred foods such as cheese, tomatoes, lemons, dates, peaches or frozen foods.

4. ASSEMBLY

FOR MINCING

• Fit the beaker (C) on the motor (A) making sure the devices are properly adjusted. Turn the beaker anti-clockwise until it fits properly. (fig. 2)
• Insert the mincing blade (D) in the shaft. (fig. 3)
• Fit the cover (E) over the beaker and turn it anti-clockwise as far as it will go (fig. 4).

- Make sure that the cover fits properly into the safety slot.

FOR SHREDDING AND SLICING

• Fit the beaker (C) on the motor (A) making sure the devices are properly adjusted. Turn the beaker anti-clockwise until it fits properly. (fig. 2)
• Insert the ejector disk (F) in the shaft.
• Fit the shredding and slicing disk (G) over the ejector disk (fig. 5) (the ejector disk and the shredding and slicing disk can be used on both sides).
• Fit the cover which corresponds to the disk (I) and turn it anti-clockwise as far as it will go (fig. 6).
• Make sure that the cover fits properly into the safety slot.

5. OPERATION

FOR MINCING

1. Follow the assembly instructions "for mincing".
2. Put the food into the beaker.
3. Close the cover (E) (fig. 4)
4. Plug in the appliance
5. Press the switch (B). The appliance will remain on whilst you press the switch.
6. Release the switch and only remove the cover when the blade has stopped turning.
7. Unplug the appliance.
8. Remove the knife (D) carefully and empty the beaker.

FOR SHREDDING AND SLICING

1. Follow the assembly instructions "for shredding and slicing".
2. Put a container under the opening where the food comes out (H).
3. Plug in the appliance
4. Put the food in the opening (J).
5. Press the switch (B) and push the food slowly with the pusher (K) (fig. 7).
6. The appliance will remain on whilst you press the switch.
7. Only remove the disk cover (I) when the shredding and slicing disks have stopped turning.
8. Unplug the appliance.

6. CLEANING

Unplug the appliance before cleaning.

Dismantle the appliance by reversing the “assembly” instructions in section 4.

In order to prevent the residue from drying out, clean the components immediately after use.

Do not put the motor in the dishwasher, under the tap or submerge it in water.

Use a damp cloth to clean the motor.

Clean the individual components with warm water and detergent. They can also be washed in the dishwasher.

7. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this

service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
