How to activate silent mode?

In the quick menu, select the Silent mode icon and press the ← key to confirm. You can choose from 3 silence levels (level 3 being the quietest).

Can I program the heat pump to heat only at certain times?

Yes, use the Weekly prog. function. You can set up to 6 programs per day with different temperature setpoints for each zone and the DHW tank.

What to do if the remote control is locked and I forgot the code?

Turn the system off, then simultaneously press the ↩, ←, and ▶ keys for about 5 seconds. The screen will show Initialize password, select Reset to reset the code to 0000.

How to activate turbo heating?

In the quick menu, select the Turbo Heating icon and press ←. The system will operate at full power for 90 minutes to quickly reach the setpoint.

Why is the operation icon flashing?

The flashing icon (e.g., '......') indicates that the system is stopped. A steady icon (e.g., '---') means the system is running.

How to force the use of the backup electric resistance?

Select Force DHW backup in the quick menu to activate the hot water tank resistance. For heating, use Force heating backup. Note that these options automatically deactivate if the system is running.

Can I use the heat pump without a hot water tank?

Yes, but the quick menu will show fewer options. Make sure the Tank connection setting is disabled in the installation settings.

How to perform a manual defrost?

In the quick menu, select the Force defrost icon and confirm with ←. The system will start a defrost cycle to remove frost from the heat exchanger.

What to do in case of an error code displayed?

Note the error code, then use the Error code initialization option in the quick menu to reset factory settings. If the problem persists, contact a professional.

What regular maintenance is recommended?

Clean the indoor unit filters every 3 to 6 months. Have annual maintenance performed by an approved installer to check the refrigeration circuit, electrical connections, and DHW tank.

Please read the Operating Instructions thoroughly before using the Quick Menu.

How to use the Quick Menu

After the initial settings have been completed, you can select a quick menu from the following options and edit the setting.

Select each setting and confirm the setting according to the instructions displayed at the bottom of the screen. (The icons refer to each selection key.)

To return to the Main Screen,

Press or ↻.

Note:

- If the system is not connected to the tank (Tank Connection is OFF), the Quick Menu screen will be displayed as right. Make sure the Tank Connection is ON.

Notes on operation icon

Example:

- Operation icon indicate with “............” = OFF

- Operation icon indicate with “——” = ON

Force DHW

Select this icon to turn the Tank DHW on or off.

Press ← to confirm your selection.

- Timer setup: Select Timer setup to edit the Weekly Timer.

- Timer copy: Select to copy a timer setting.

Select the day(s) which you wish to edit using ▲▼ buttons.

If all 6 patterns are not preset, this screen will be displayed.

① Select pattern “1” \~ “6”.
② Set the hour and minutes of the Timer.
③ Select ON/OFF of the Timer.
④ Select the operation mode.

⑤ Set the temperature for both Zone 1 and 2 (if your system has the 2-Zone setting).

Saturday: Pattern 1: Set Temp

⑥ Set the Tank temperature.

Note:

• Timer is disabled when Force Heater is turned on or Heat-Cool SW is enabled.
• If you have preset the Weekly Timer on 2 zones, you must repeat the same procedure with Zone 2.

Force Defrost

Select to defrost the frozen pipes.

Press ← to confirm your selection.
