How do I connect the wireless RX-333 mouse to my computer?

Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the bottom. The mouse should automatically connect. If not, press the connect button on the receiver and then on the mouse.

Can I use the mouse while it is charging?

The Sven RX-333 mouse uses AA batteries (if wireless) or is powered via USB (if wired). It does not have a rechargeable battery, so you need to replace the battery when low. For wired version, it works immediately when plugged in.

How can I adjust the DPI sensitivity?

Press the DPI button located on the top of the mouse (usually behind the scroll wheel) to cycle through preset DPI levels. The current setting may be indicated by an LED color change.

What should I do if the mouse cursor moves erratically?

Clean the optical sensor and the surface under the mouse. Ensure the surface is not reflective or patterned. Also check the USB connection or battery level for wireless models.

Is the mouse compatible with Linux?

Yes, the Sven RX-333 uses standard HID protocols and should work with Linux without additional drivers. However, advanced features like DPI switching may require configuration.

How do I replace the battery in the wireless version?

Turn the mouse over and slide the battery compartment cover open. Insert one AA battery with correct polarity, then close the cover. Make sure the power switch is ON.

Can I use the mouse on a glass table?

The optical sensor may struggle on glass or mirror surfaces. For best performance, use a mouse pad or opaque surface.

What do the different LED colors on the mouse mean?

The LED indicates the current DPI setting: red for low, blue for medium, green for high, or other colors depending on the model. Consult the user manual for specific color codes.

How to clean the mouse?

Unplug the mouse (or remove batteries). Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol to wipe the exterior. Avoid getting moisture into openings. Clean the sensor with a dry cotton swab.

The left click button stopped working - what can I do?

First, check if the button is physically stuck or dirty. Clean around the button with compressed air. If the issue persists, the microswitch may be faulty. Contact Sven support for repair or replacement options.

5. INSTALLATION

• Open the cover of the mouse battery compartment ⑥, insert two AA type batteries into the battery compartment, matching the polarity, and close the cover of the battery compartment (see Fig. 4).
• Pull out the nano receiver ⑦ from the mouse (Fig. 5) and connect it to an available PC USB port without switching off the PC (Fig. 6).

- Turn on the mouse with the on/off switch ④ (the On position). To activate the mouse, press any button of the mouse or turn the scroll wheel. If the mouse is connected correctly, it will turn on automatically.

• After finishing your work, turn off the mouse with the on/off switch ④ (the Off position). Then take the nano receiver out of the USB port and insert it back into the mouse. (Fig. 7).
• Do not place the receiver in a metal confined space (table drawer, box, safe), as a metal screen does not transmit radio signals.
• If the batteries run down, the mouse works in jerks. It means that the batteries should be replaced with new ones, as it is shown in Fig. 4. Always install only identical new batteries.

Important

This device meets the highest standards of energy conservation. Use the switch ④ on the bottom of the mouse to switch it on/off – it will help you extend the mouse battery life.

1. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem	Solution
The mouse doesn’t work.	1. Make sure that the nano receiver has been inserted into the USB port and its distance to the mouse is less than 10 m.2. Check if the batteries have been installed correctly.3. Replace the discharged batteries with new ones.4. Check the position of the switch. Shift it to the necessary position if needed.
Batteries are in good order, but the mouse still does not work.	Install the software to coordinate the mouse and the receiver. Software can be downloaded from Support on www.sven.fi
