SAFETY NOTES
- After unpacking, make sure the appliance is intact, complete with all its parts as shown in the illustrative guide and with no sign of damage due to transportation. In doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.

CAUTION! Remove any communication material such as labels, tags etc. from the appliance before use.

WARNING! Risk of suffocation.
Children shall not play with the packaging. Keep the plastic bag out of reach of children.
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a kettle for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant with the intended use and therefore dangerous.

WARNING! Any misuse of the appliance may lead to injuries.

WARNING! This appliance must be used only with water.
- Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage and frequency indicated on the technical data of the appliance correspond to those of the mains supply. The rating is on the appliance or on the power supply unit, if any (see illustrative guide).
- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Children shall not play with the appliance.
- DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or barefoot.
- DO NOT pull the supply cord or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.
- DO NOT pull or lift the appliance by the supply cord.

- DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.) or extreme temperatures.
• The appliance must not be left unattended while it is operated. - Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
- If the appliance is faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not tamper with it. Contact an authorised technical service centre for any repairs.
- If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
- DO NOT immerse this appliance into water or other liquids. For any cleaning and maintenance operation referto the instructions in the relevant chapter.
- DO NOT use this appliance near a washbasin full of water. During use the appliance must be placed in such a way that it cannot fall in the washbasin.

- DO NOT leave this appliance in contact with or near materials and surfaces that are easily flammable or can get damaged with heat.
- This appliance must be placed on a flat, stable surface.

WARNING! The kettle must not be filled over the max level; if the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

CAUTION! Insure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its stand.

• DO NOT use near a hob. The supply cord shall not come into contact with hot, incandescent surfaces, open flames, pots and other utensils.

CLEANING BEFORE FIRST USE
Unpack the appliance and remove any inserts or adhesive labels from the product.
- Remove the filter (12) by pulling it upwards, and pull out the two hooks from the seats [Fig. D and E] and wash it with water
- Fill the kettle with water and bring to a boil before use. Discard the water and rinse the kettle with cold water. Repeat three times to remove any processing residue.
• After rinsing the kettle, set the removable filter (12) back into place.
ASSEMBLY
- Unroll the power cable (9) from the electrical support (7)
- Place the electrical support (7) and the kettle body (6) on a flat surface.
- Remove the kettle from the electrical support
- Open the lid (1) using the relevant button (2) and fill the kettle up to the desired level without exceeding the indicated maximum level.

WARNING! This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking water.

WARNING! ☉ DO NOT move the appliance while it is working.

WARNING! ☑ DO NOT fill over the MAX level.

WARNING! Keep the lid closed when the appliance is switched on.

WARNING! ⊗ DO NOT insert your fingers into the product during operation.

ATTENTION! The surfaces of the appliance can become very hot during use; do not touch the hot parts, such as the body and lid of the kettle during or after use. Always use the handle.
Proceed as follows after having assembled the appliance:
- Unroll the power cable (9) from the electrical support (7)
- Insert the plug (9) in the socket.
- Open the lid by pressing the relevant button [Fig C] and fill the kettle at least up to the indicated minimum level (4)
- Place the kettle on the electrical support (7)
- Lower the on/off lever (5) to turn the kettle on
- The kettle switches off automatically when the water boils.
- At the desired temperature, raise the on/off lever (5) until the LED goes off
- Turn the kettle off by raising the on/off lever (5) until the LED goes off or remove the kettle from the electrical support (7)
- Remove the kettle from the electrical support and slowly pour the water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.

WARNING! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.
- Clean the external surface of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth and dry it with a soft, dry cloth
- Do not use metal scouring pads or stain removal and corrosive agents
- For the appliance to work correctly, it is very important to regularly clean and remove the limescale using a descaling product suitable for kettles.
- Once descaled, let the appliance boil water several times and rinse thoroughly with fresh water to completely eliminate any residual descaling agent. If the filter (12) needs to be descaled, remove it by pulling it up, and pulling the two hooks from their seats [Fig. D and E] and immerse it in the descaling solution.
- Rinse under a tap while brushing it with a toothbrush with soft bristles.
STORAGE

WARNING! Once you have finished using this appliance, make sure it has cooled down completely before putting it away.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Should one of the problems indicated occur, adopt the proposed solution:

DISPOSAL

The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.

Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.
The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is purchased. The user can hand over electronic products measuring less than 25 cm to retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m ^2 free of charge and with no obligation to buy. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and
environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.

ASSISTANCE AND WARRANTY
The appliance is guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of delivery. Evidence shall be taken as the date indicated on the receipt/invoice (provided it is legible), unless the buyer can prove that the delivery occurred later.
In the event of a defect in the product which existed prior to the date of delivery, appliance repair or replacement is guaranteed free of charge, unless one of the two solutions is disproportionate to the other. The buyer has the obligation to notify an authorised Service Centre of the non-conformity within two months from discovering the defect.
The warranty does not cover any part that may be defective due to:
a. transport damage or accidental drops,
b. incorrect installation or an inadequate electrical system,
c. repairs or alterations made by unauthorised personnel,
d. poor or incorrect maintenance and cleaning,
e. product and/or product parts subject to wear and/or consumables,
f. failure to comply with the operating instructions and/or negligent or careless use.
The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance.
In addition, the warranty does not cover any case of improper use of the appliance and professional use.
All liability is disclaimed for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons, property and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions provided in the “Instructions and Warnings Booklet” regarding appliance installation, use and maintenance.
This is without prejudice to any contractual warranty claims against the seller.
Methods of support
Appliance repairs must be carried out by an authorised Service Centre. If the faulty appliance is under warranty, it must be sent to the Service Centre together with a fiscal document that can confirm the date of sale or delivery.
