How do I assemble the food processor before use?

First, place the body on a flat surface. Assemble the jug with the cutting unit by turning the jug anti-clockwise onto the body. Then place food in the jug (max 1.2 L). Attach the cover by turning it anti-clockwise, and finally insert the cap into the cover opening and turn to lock. Ensure all parts are properly seated before switching on.

What is the maximum continuous operating time?

The maximum continuous operating time is 60 seconds. After that, you must let the appliance rest for at least 2 minutes before restarting to prevent engine damage.

Why won't the blender start?

The appliance has a safety lock that prevents operation if the jug is not properly seated. Check that the jug is correctly assembled and turned anti-clockwise onto the body. Also ensure the switch is not in the off position (0). If the problem persists, disconnect from power and recheck assembly.

Can I wash the parts in the dishwasher?

No, none of the parts are dishwasher safe. Wash the cap, cover, and jug in warm water with mild detergent. The body and cutting unit must never be immersed in water; clean the body with a damp cloth and the cutting unit (knife) with a brush, avoiding direct contact with the blade.

How do I disassemble the cutting unit for cleaning?

To remove the cutting unit, turn it anti-clockwise and slide it out from the bottom of the jug. Do not immerse the cutting unit completely in water. After washing, dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.

What does the 'P' setting on the switch do?

The 'P' position is for impulse (pulse) operation. Turn and hold the switch in 'P' to run the motor in short bursts. When you release the switch, it automatically returns to the '0' (off) position. This is useful for mixing solid ingredients or achieving a desired consistency.

Can I process hot liquids or food?

No, the appliance is not suitable for hot meals. Do not process hot liquids or food, as this may damage the appliance and cause splashing.

What should I do if the appliance blocks during operation?

If the appliance becomes blocked, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and wait for the blade to stop completely. Do not attempt to start it again until you have removed the obstruction. Avoid overfilling (max 1.2 L) and cut solid ingredients into small pieces (2-3 cm) to prevent blocking.

How do I clean the jug and knife easily?

For quick cleaning, fill the jug with water, place it on the body, and run the appliance in pulse mode (P) a few times. Then empty the water and rinse. This helps remove food residue without disassembling.

Is the knife covered under guarantee?

No, the knife is considered a consumable part and is not covered by the guarantee. It is an exploitation element that may wear out over time. Ensure you use only original accessories.

USING THE APPLIANCE

Before the first usage, one shall wash all the parts of the blender which come in contact with food, that is: a cap (1), a cover (2), a jug (3) and a cutting unit (photo 2).

• in order to disassemble the cover (2) one shall turn it clockwise and slide out. The cap (1) which is located in the cover shall be disassembled in an analogical way.
• in order to disassemble the jug (3) one shall turn it clockwise and slide out while holding the holder (4)
• for the purposes of washing, the cutting unit which is located on the bottom of the jug (3) shall also be disassembled. It shall be turned anti-clockwise and slid out (photograph 4). It is not allowed to immerse the cutting unit in total in water. Before the reassembly, all the elements have to be dried completely.

SERVICING

• make sure that the appliance is disconnected from power network and the switch (6) is set in „0" position
• the body (5) has to be placed on a flat and stable surface
• assemble the jug (3) together with the cutting unit. The jug (3) has to be placed on the body (5) and turned anti-clockwise (photograph 5)

The appliance is equipped in a device which protects it against starting it without the properly seated jug (3). In case of problems with starting the blender, it is necessary to check whether the above mentioned element is appropriately assembled.

• place food products in the jug (3). The maximum allowed level is marked on the jug (MAX).
  In order to avoid splashing it is recommended not to exceed the volume of 1.2 l.
• place the cover (2) on the jug (3) and block it by means of turning it anti-clockwise
• put the cap (1) into the opening in the cover (2) and block it by means of turning it anti-clockwise
• connect the appliance to power
• depending on the products processed, select with a switch (6) low or high speed (item 1 or 2)
• in order to turn on impulse work, one shall turn and hold the switch (6) in „P" position.

After releasing the switch it automatically goes back to „0" position.

After completing work one shall set the switch (6) in „0” position, disconnect the appliance from network and wait for the knife (A) to stop.

ATTENTION

It is necessary to observe the time of the appliance continuous work. Exceeding working time and lack of sufficient intervals in the appliance work may lead to irreversible damages to the engine and loss of guarantee.

In case the appliances blocks while operation, disconnect it from power supply before cleaning and wait for the knife to stop. It is not allowed to start the blender without the food products

NOTICE

- In order to obtain the best results in preparing pulps and mousses it is necessary to put small portions of food instead of big ones into the jug.

- In case of processing solid products, it is necessary to cut them into smaller pieces first (2-3 cm).

- Accessories and jug are not adjusted for preparing hot meals.

- It is recommended to use the blender in impulse mode for mixing components of solid consistency in order to prevent from cutting knives blocking.

- The cap (1) plays also the function of a measuring unit with the volume of 30ml

CARE AND CLEANING

Before attempting to cleaning, one shall disconnect the appliance from supply network.

The elements of the blender may not be washed in dishwashers do or in very hot water.

The body (5) and the cutting unit (photograph 2) cannot be immersed in water.

The body may be cleaned with a damp cloth with the addition of washing liquid.

Do not clean the cutting knife unit (A) with bare hands. Use a brush.

Other elements, that is a cap (1), a cover (2) or a pot (3) may be washed in warm water with the additional of washing liquid.

Simple cleaning of the jug and knife:

- empty the jug (3) and fill it in with water.

- place the jug (3) on the body (5) and turn the switch (6) for a couple of times into „P” position.

- discharge water from the jug and rinse it.

It is not allowed to clean the appliance with sharp, abrasive cloths or sponges as it may lead to damaging the appliance.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• The appliance is made of materials which can be reprocessed or recycled.
• The appliance should be disposed of only in authorised disposal centres which deal with collecting and recycling electrical and electronic appliances.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before the first usage, one shall carefully get familiar with the contents of the herein user's manual.

- The connection cable shall be connected to the socket with the parameters consistent with the ones given in the manual.

- Do not immerse the cable or the appliance in water.

- Do not use in open air.

- The appliance is intended only for households.

- Do not place the appliance in the surrounding of the sources of heat.

- The cable of the appliance cannot be run in the neighbourhood of hot surfaces.

- The appliance is not intended to be used by people (including children) with limited physical, sensorics or mental skills, unless they are supervised by the person responsible for their safety. One shall pay attention for the appliance not to be tampered with by children.

- The children are not allowed to use the blender without supervision.

- Before starting the appliance, one shall make sure whether its all elements are appropriately assembled.

- Do not grasp the appliance with wet hands.

- Do not place such materials as paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, etc. into the jug. It may lead to cutting mechanism blocking, fire or electric shock.

- Do not start the appliance if the jug was not placed on the body in an appropriate manner or without a cap together with a measuring unit.

- While the appliance's operation one shall keep his hand on the cover and push it slightly.

- Before taking the jug out of the engine housing or lifting the cover, one shall turn off the appliance (switch (5) in „0" position) and wait for the blade to stop.

- Always disconnect the appliance from power supply if left without supervision, before the assembly or disassembly and before cleaning.

- The appliance cannot be used with a damaged knife.

- The knife is an exploitation element and it is not covered with guarantee.

- Do not turn on the appliance without food products in it.

- Do not touch the knife with the appliance turned on and after disconnecting the appliance it may be touched only after it stopped.

- Use only with originally enclosed accessories.

- One shall pay attention not to connect too many receivers to one power circuit.

- Do not use the appliance with a damaged connection cable. If the supply cable was subject to damage, it has to be replaced by the Manufacturer's Servicing Department in order to prevent from danger.

- The repairs of the equipment may be carried out only by an authorized servicing agency (a list of servicing agencies is enclosed and may be found at www.eldom.eu).

All the modernizations or application of unoriginal spare parts or appliance elements is forbidden and threatens the safety of usage.

- Eldom Sp. z o. o. company is not liable for possible damages occurred as a result of inadequate usage of the appliance.
