How do I fill the water tank?

Open the water inlet cover, tilt the iron, and pour water using a measuring cup. Do not exceed the max line.

OPERATION GUIDE

Before using the iron for the first time you should remove (unstick) the protection layer from the soleplate (13) and unwind entirely the power cord (5). At the beginning of the exploitation a harmless smell can come out. This fact does not influence the working of the device and goes by quite quickly.

Before connecting the iron to the power supply you should put it on the base (12), set the thermostat to MIN and burst of steam regulator to position (steam off).

After the device is connected to the power supply and desired temperature is set the light indicator starts to glow. The indicator light goes out when the appliance reaches the desired temperature.

The ironing temperature should be adequate for the type of fabric. If the fabric type is unknown ironing should begin at the lowest possible temperature that is gradually increased until satisfying effects are reached.

DRY IRON

Put the iron on the base (12), set the burst of steam regulator to position. Before connecting the iron to the power supply or switching it off the thermostat (7) should be always set to MIN position.

STEAM IRON

Steam iron function can be only used with high temperature settings. The highest temperature is marked as MAX at the thermostat. The amount of steam is set with burst of steam regulator (1).

For additional burst of steam use steam button (2).

CAUTION. Steam is hot. There is a danger of scald. Soleplate heats up slowly but it needs more time for cooling down. Therefore it should not be touched.

HOW TO FILL

Be sure the iron is unplugged from the power supply and the burst of steam regulator is set to position before filling with water.

Ordinary room temperature tap water can be used as well as distilled water. Do not use mineral or overcalcified as well as water destined for batteries.

For filling the water reservoir use only specially designed container which shape is adjusted to the shape of the water inlet. Never fill the iron directly from water tap. Remember not to pour water over the maximum level indicator MAX on the water reservoir (11).

ANTI DRIP SYSTEM

Anti Drip function prevents the water from dripping out of the soleplate when the iron temperature is to low to produce the steam.

SELF CLEANING

We recommend using the function of soleplate self cleaning SELF CLEAN that prevents scale built-up. To use that function:

• fill the water reservoir entirely with water
• connect the iron to the power supply and set the thermostat(7) to MAX position
• after the indicator light(8) goes out unplug the iron and hold it horizontally over the sink
• push and hold the self cleaning button (10) and shake the iron
• after cooling the iron down wipe the soleplate with moist cloth to remove possible dirt

Water and steam coming out of the iron during self cleaning are hot. There is a danger of scald.

SPRAY

After filling the reservoir with water you can use the function of spraying film of water onto the cloth by pressing the spray button (3)

USEFUL TIPS

• only use the tap or distilled water
• iron is equipped with the vertical base (12) that enables comfortable and stable position
• decreasing the temperature with the thermostat does not lead to immediate cooling down the soleplate; you should wait until the light indicator goes on again,
• by dry iron the water reservoir can be empty, be sure that the burst of steam regulator is set to ⚙ position. Whole scale of the temperature can be used depending on the type of the fabric. If the water reservoir is full the function of spray can be used,
• the iron must be stored in vertical position, unplugged, cooled down and without the water inside,
• by working with low temperature only dry iron possible,

CLEANING AND MAINTANANCE

• before cleaning unplug the iron and wait until it cools down completely. the iron cannot be immersed in water
• do not clean the iron with sharp, abrasive clothes or sponges because it can damage the appliance
• the body of the iron and the soleplate should be cleaned with moist cloth and wiped dry with clean cloth.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• please acquaint precisely with whole of this instruction before using the blender for the first time,
• the power cable must be plugged in the socket with parameters the same as those given in that instruction manual,
• iron must be plugged into the socket with protective contact,
• before switching the iron on or off always set the temperature regulator in the MIN position,
• never pull the power cord to unplug the device,
• before the iron is stored always wait until it cools down and remove all the water from the reservoir. During storage the power cord can be gently turned round the base. By doing it to hard you can damage the cord,
• the iron should be stored in safe place in vertical position to prevent the remaining water from damaging the sole plate while dripping out of the steam holes,
• the power cord cannot be placed near the source of the heat,
• unplug the appliance before filling it with water,
• never leave the iron without the supervision when it connected to power supply,
• contact with hot metal surfaces of the iron and hot steam can cause burnings – keep the utmost care,
• do not allow children close to the device without supervision,
• the device is not intended for use by people (including children) with limited physical, sensorial or mental capabilities unless they are supervised by person responsible for their safety,
• do not use the iron outdoors,
• always pull the plug of the socket before cleaning,
• intended for household use only,
• intended only for cloths ironing purposes
• during ironing never put it in horizontal position on the ironing board
• do not use the appliance when the power cord is damaged
