How hot does the Karu 16's plate/table get?

The external plate (work table) of the Karu 16 gets very hot during cooking, as the cooking chamber reaches 550°C. Although the oven is thermally insulated, heat radiates intensely through the outer walls, particularly from the top and sides.

For this reason, the manufacturer strongly recommends maintaining at least 1 m of clearance on the sides and back, and 3 m of clearance in front and above the oven. This applies to any combustible material or object (wooden table, nearby terrace, parasol, etc.).

Key safety points:

Always wear heat-resistant gloves when handling
Do not touch the external surfaces of the oven during cooking
Wait at least 2 hours after the fire is extinguished before handling or covering the appliance
Allow the oven to cool completely before moving or storing it

If you plan to install a table adjacent to the oven, ensure a distance greater than 1 m and use fireproof or highly refractory materials.
