Frequently Asked Questions - IWD-1160S Imarflex

How do I turn on the water dispenser?
Connect the power plug to a suitable outlet and switch on the power button located on the back or side of the unit. The indicator lights will illuminate.
How long does it take to heat the water?
After powering on, the water heats to approximately 85°C within 15-20 minutes. The heating indicator will turn off when ready.
How do I switch between hot and cold water?
Use the designated taps: the red tap for hot water and the blue tap for cold water. Ensure you operate the child safety lock for hot water.
Why is the water not cold enough?
Check that the cooling switch is turned on and the unit is not placed near a heat source. Allow up to 1 hour for the first cooling cycle.
How often should I clean the water dispenser?
Clean the water tank and drip tray every two weeks with a mild detergent. Descale the heating chamber every three months using a descaling solution.
What does the child safety lock do?
The child safety lock prevents accidental dispensing of hot water. Press and hold the lock button while pressing the hot water tap to dispense.
Can I use tap water directly?
Yes, but for better taste and to reduce scale, it is recommended to use purified or bottled water. Regular tap water may require more frequent descaling.
What should I do if the dispenser is leaking?
Check the water tank and drip tray for cracks or misalignment. Ensure all connections are tight. If the leak persists, contact customer support.
How do I descale the water dispenser?
Mix a descaling solution (citric acid or vinegar) with water, pour into the tank, let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if necessary.
Where can I buy spare parts?
Spare parts such as drip trays, water tanks, and taps are available from authorized Imarflex dealers or online stores. Check the user manual for part numbers.
