The camera does not turn on, what to do?
Check that the Ethernet cable is properly connected and that the network switch supports PoE. If using a power adapter, make sure it is plugged in and functional.
How to access the camera from outside?
You need to configure port forwarding on your router (port 80 or 443) to the camera's local IP address. Also enable dynamic DNS if your public IP changes.
What software to use to view streams?
Canon offers RM Viewer or Video Management Software. You can also use a web browser or ONVIF-compatible applications like iSpy or Blue Iris.
How to update the firmware?
Download the latest firmware from the Canon Europe website. In the web interface, go to Settings > Maintenance > Update and select the file. Do not cut power during the operation.
