Frequently Asked Questions - 411-128 Anslut

How do I clean my Anslut 411-128 heater?
Unplug the heater and allow it to cool. Use a soft brush to clean the air intake and outlet grills. Do not use water or cleaning agents.
What should I do if the heater does not start?
Check that the power cord is plugged in and the circuit breaker is on. Ensure the thermostat is set above room temperature. If it still does not start, the tip-over switch may be activated; place the heater on a flat, stable surface.
Is the heater safe for use in a bathroom?
No, this heater is designed for indoor use only and should not be exposed to water or moisture. Use in a bathroom may cause electric shock.
Can I use an extension cord with this heater?
It is not recommended. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord rated at least 15 amps and fully unwound. Always plug directly into a wall outlet.
How does the timer function work?
Set the timer knob to the desired number of hours (1-12). The heater will automatically shut off after that time. Turn the knob to 'ON' for continuous operation.
The heater makes clicking noises. Is this normal?
Yes, clicking sounds are normal as the thermostat and fan components expand and contract during operation. If the noise is loud or metallic, contact support.
What is the recommended maintenance frequency?
Clean the heater every 2-4 weeks during regular use. Check power cord for damage before each use. Store in a dry place when not in use.
Does the heater have a filter that needs replacing?
This model does not have a replaceable filter. Simply clean the air intake grills with a brush to prevent dust buildup.
Can I leave the heater unattended?
It is designed with safety features like overheat protection and tip-over switch, but it is always recommended to turn off and unplug the heater when leaving the room or sleeping.
Where can I find spare parts?
Contact Anslut customer service or visit the official website for information on spare parts like fan motors and thermostat controls.
