Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
- WARNING: Use in confined areas where persons cannot leave on their own must only take place under constant supervision.
- WARNING: Certain parts of the appliance can become extremely hot and cause burns. Special attention must be given when children and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities are present.
- IMPORTANT: Do not connect the appliance to units that will turn it on automatically, such as temperature or time-controlled units, in order to avoid the risk of overheating if the infrared heater is moved or covered.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Chil-dren shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
- Remove the packaging material and check that the appliance is intact. Do not use the appliance if in doubt, but instead contact our service representative. Keep packaging material such as bags and staples out of the reach of children.
• The appliance must be used in accordance with local regulations. The appliance may only
• be connected to an earthed mains supply. - The appliance is only intended for use as a heat source for household use. Use other than that intended can entail a risk of personal injury.
- The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any damage arising from incorrect use of the appliance.
• Never touch electrical appliances with wet or damp hands or feet.
• Never expose electrical appliances to rain, sun, etc.
• Always place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
• Turn off the appliance and unplug the power cord before cleaning. - If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period, it must be turned off and the power cord unplugged. Ensure that children cannot injure themselves on the appliance.
- Do not use the infrared heater close to bathtubs, showers, washbasins or swimming pools (min. distance 1 m).
• Do not lay the power cord over the appliance while it is still hot.
• The appliance must be positioned vertically.
• Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of furniture, curtains, shelves, etc.
• Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of liquids or flammable materials.
• Do not position the appliance immediately below a power outlet. - Do not cover the appliance when it is in operation – risk of overheating!
- A damaged cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre to ensure the appliance is safe to use.
- Monitor the appliance carefully when it is being used by or in the vicinity of children or people with disabilities.
• Do not use extension cords or adapter bars.
• The cord must not be bent or damaged.
• Turn off the appliance and unplug the power cord before cleaning and maintenance.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Any repairs must be carried out by an authorised service centre or other qualified person. The manufacturer will assume no liability for damage incurred as a result of unauthorised repairs to the appliance.
Fire hazard
- The sides and/or rear of the infrared heater must be at least 1.5 metres from furniture, curtains or other flammable material.
• Do not use the infrared heater close to baths, showers or swimming pools.

ASSEMBLY
- The appliance must be installed at least 180 cm above the floor. See illustration.
• Use the supplied brackets to prepare the holes in the wall. - The brackets must be securely fixed to the wall.
- Connect the appliance to a mains outlet with at least a 10 A fuse.
- The infrared heater can be turned to the desired position. This may only be done when the infrared heater is cold and not connected to the mains voltage.

MAINTENANCE
- The outside of the appliance must be cleaned regularly.
- Turn off the appliance, unplug the power cord and wait until the apparatus has cooled after use and before cleaning. Clean dust from the grille.
• Use a damp cloth for cleaning. Painted parts must not be cleaned with abrasive agents or solvents.
