Frequently Asked Questions - 411-077 Anslut

How do I clean the Anslut 411-077 heater?
Always unplug the heater first. Use a soft dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For the air inlet/outlet, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. Never use water or cleaning agents.
Can I use the heater in a bathroom?
No, the Anslut 411-077 is not splash-proof. It should be used in dry indoor areas only, away from water sources.
What does the thermostat do?
The adjustable thermostat allows you to set the desired room temperature. Once the temperature is reached, the heater will cycle on and off to maintain it.
Why does the heater turn off automatically?
This may be due to overheating protection or the tip-over switch. Ensure the heater is on a stable surface and that the air intake is not blocked. If it continues, check the filter or contact support.
What are the power modes?
The heater has three settings: Fan only (no heat), Low heat (1000 W), and High heat (2000 W). Use the rotary switch to select.
How do I replace the dust filter?
Turn off and unplug the heater. Locate the filter cover (usually on the back or side), remove the old filter, and insert a new washable filter. Wash the old filter with mild soap and water, dry completely, and reuse.
Is the heater safe to leave unattended?
While the heater has safety features like overheat protection and tip-over switch, it is not recommended to leave it unattended for long periods. Always follow the manual's safety instructions.
Can I use an extension cord?
It is best to plug the heater directly into a wall outlet. If an extension cord is necessary, use a heavy-duty cord (min 14 AWG) rated for at least 2000 W and keep it fully uncoiled.
What should I do if the heater makes unusual noise?
Unplug the heater and check for obstructions in the fan. Clean the filter. If noise persists, it may indicate a mechanical issue; contact Anslut customer service.
How do I store the heater during summer?
Clean the heater and filter, allow to dry completely. Wrap the power cord loosely, and store in a dry, dust-free place away from direct sunlight.

  4. Function selector

OPERATION

NOTE: When the heater fan is used for the first time, or when it has not been used for an extended period, it is normal for it to emit a certain odour and some fumes. These will disappear after a short while. The heater fan is equipped with tilt protection. In order to activate the fan, it must be placed on a flat surface.

  • Turn the thermostat clockwise to MAX.
  • For operation in the summer (ventilation only), turn the function selector to the position ⚡.
    • For heating at half power, turn the function selector to position I (1000 W).
    • For heating at full power, turn the function selector to position II (2000 W).
    • To switch off the heater fan, turn the function selector to position 0.

Regulating the thermostat

When the required room temperature has been reached, turn the thermostat slowly anti-clockwise until the heater fan switches off. Stop in this position. The thermostat will then maintain this temperature in the room.

The heater fan has a safety switch that turns the appliance off in the event of overheating, for example if the air intake/outlet is blocked or if the motor is operating slowly or not at all). To reset the heater fan: Unplug the heater fan from the mains supply and wait for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating and then reconnect the heater fan to the power socket. If this does not solve the problem, take the heater fan to your authorised service centre for inspection.

MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the heater fan from the mains supply before cleaning it.
• Regularly clean the grilles over the air intake and air outlet.
- Do not use solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.
