Pure electrical circuit lines without any symbols

While operating the appliance, follow the instructions given below. If used properly, it will serve you for many years.

■ Before connecting the appliance to electric outlet, check that the mains voltage coincides with supply voltage of the appliance. The later can be found in technical data or on the factory nameplate of the appliance.
■ The appliance is intended for domestic use only. The appliance is not intended for industrial use.
■ Never let children to use the appliance until they have been briefed and got the knowledge about the instructions of safe operation. The appliance itself and the packing materials are not allowed to be used as children's playthings.

■ It is prohibited to perform independent repairs or make modifications to the design of the appliance. All the service and repair works should be performed by authorised service-centre. Amateurish works performed can result in breaking, injuries and damage to property.
■ Use batteries of appropriate type only. Battery type can be found in technical specifications or in the nameplate available on the appliance.
■ It is prohibited to immerse the appliance in water or any liquids. This may result in damages.

Operation of the scales shall be prohibited in the following cases:

■ In premises with increased humidity, for example in a bathroom. There is a risk of failure of the appliance.
■Outdoors.

A risk exists, of malfunction due to rain and other weather conditions.

■ Mobile phone may create interference, which may lead to inaccurate results of weighing.
- Keep turned-on mobile phone at a distance of at least 2 metres from the scales or turn the mobile phone off.

ATTENTION!

It is prohibited to use an appliance in case of any malfunctions.

The manufacturer has no responsibility for any damage caused by violation of safety rules and operating instructions.

Note! Keep this instruction manual for further use.

PRIOR TO THE FIRST USE

1. Take out the appliance from the box carefully; remove all packing materials including advertising stickers.
2. Wipe the case of the appliance with moist cloth and then dry it up.
3. Check correctness of connection of the battery, for this purpose apply to «Operating of a scales».

II. OPERATING OF SCALE

1. Make sure the battery is inserted in a scales before operating.
2. Remove the lid of the battery compartment and make sure the battery is inserted correctly, with observance of polarity.

1. If the battery have not been inserted, insert it in place.

Connect the battery to the connectors, observing the polarity. Use battery only corresponding type.

NOTE! When inserting the batteries, the hands and the appliance should be dry.

1. Close the compartment lid after inserting the battery.

2. Choose the necessary measure unit using measure unit switcher:

1. Place the scale on a flat horizontal surface. This condition is obligatory – it allows to receive an exact results.

1. Scales is supplied with automatically switched on system, to switch on the scales step on scales platform.

Try not to move on scales during weighting, do not bend in sides, do not transfer the center of gravity from one foot to another etc.

1. On LED display value of your weight will be displayed.

1. Finishing weighting - step off the scale platform. Scale will switch off automatically.

NOTE!

To get an exact value of weight it is necessary to observe a number of conditions:

1. Place the scales on flat hard horizontal surface.
2. Get on platform of scales smoothly.
3. Do not transfer the centre of gravity from one foot to another.
4. Avoid sharp movements and rockings during weighing.

5. The most exact parameters of weight are reached on the second and the subsequent weighings

6. On LED display there will be a message

III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Do not use abrasive washing up liquids, metallic brushes, alcohol-containing solvents.
2. It is prohibited to immerse the appliance into water, or wash under a flush of water.
3. Clean scale platform with wet fabric, then wipe it dry.
4. Take the battery off before prolonged storage.

IV. BEFORE CONSULTING THE SERVICE CENTER

V. GUARANTEE

The period of guarantee for the product is 12 months from the selling date.

The guarantee covers defects of material and workmanship.

Under the present guarantee, the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any part recognized as faulty on condition that the product is sent to the seller.

The present guarantee shall be valid only in case the product was used in compliance with this instruction, no modifications were made to it, it was not repaired or disassembled by unauthorized persons, or was not damaged due to improper handling. Also, the complete set of the product must be retained.

This guarantee does not cover natural wear of the product as well as brittle objects such as ceramic components, lamps, etc.

The guarantee shall not become effective unless the date of purchase is confirmed by the seller's signature and seal on the guarantee coupon.

Any repair under this guarantee shall not extend the period of guarantee and shall not initiate the beginning of a new guarantee.

In compliance with paragraph 2, article 5 of the Federal Law of the RF «On protection of consumers' rights», the manufacturer has established a minimum service life for this product, which is 2 years from the date of manufacture on condition that the product is used in strict compliance with this manual and technical requirements.
