General safety instructions
Before using the appliance ensure that the main voltage corresponds to the voltage displayed on the rating label. Always plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
In order to avoid electrical shock risk, please do not inmerse the power cord nor the appliance into water or any other kind of liquid. Check the cleaning instructions.
Do not use unauthorized accessories. This will result in cancellation of the guarantee and could cause accidents.
Do not keep the power cording hanging from the table or the shelf. Keep it away from hot sources. Do not allow sharp or blunt objects to touch it. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if you notice unusual operation of the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance operating without supervision. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it. Pull the plug, not the power cord.
If any repair is needed, or if the power cord must be replaced, please ask a aqualified professional or contact the Official Technical Support.

Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
This appliance is not supposed to be operated by any external timer or remote control system.
Never use forks or sharp objects to clean the appliance. This could cause several damage and may cause an accident.
Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
Before cleaning the appliance, check that it is unplugged.

Do not use the appliance in an improper way. It could cause severe injuries. In the event that the appliance has been misused by the costumer, the guarantee will be cancelled.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Empty the water tank completely when finished using the apliance if the room temperature is equal or below 0^ C.
It is always recommended to empty the water tank to protect the appliance against accumulated lime deposits that could damage the tank or ducts.
It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water. Tap water may cause mineral deposits to be accumulated inside the appliance and therefore blocking its output holes.
Long-range hot steam is released when pressing the steam burst button. Keep a safe distance when using it to avoid accidental burns.
Do not use the appliance in wet or humid environments such as bathrooms.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.
The water tank must be filled only if the appliance is shut off and unplugged.
Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with the soleplate.
Do not iron excessively dry fabrics.
Do not aim the appliance towards people when it is still hot.
Do not overfill the water tank. Do not add dyes or similar products to the water tank or the boiler.

CAUTION: Never attempt to open the anti-calc valve while the boiler is under pressure. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before opening the valve.
Always place the appliance in horizontal position and on a flat stable surface.
Do not use the appliance on zippers, broochs, rivets, rings or any other similar metallic elements. Friction with these elements may scratch the soleplate surface and proper functioning of the appliance may be affected.

Children must be supervised so they do not play with the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.

Operation
Open the water tank's fill cap.
Fill the water deposit without exceeding the max. level mark. If tap water in your area is excessively hard, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water instead.
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
Press the on / off switch. The power on light indicator will come on to indicate that the iron is ready for dry use.
Select the desired ironing mode:

Adjust the temperature by turning the thermostat knob to the required position. The icons on this knob will help you choose the most adequate temperature according to the type of clothes to be ironed.
After 90 seconds approximately, the max steam light indicator and iron ready light indicator will come on. The iron is ready for ironing.
Steam ironing
When using the appliance for the first time, iron flat clothes.
To activate the steam release it is necessary to wait for 30 seconds approximately after pressing the steam button or the steam burst button.

NOTE: Small amounts of steam may be released from the soleplate after releasing the steam button or the steam burst button.

CAUTION: Do not unplug the appliance if there is still steam being released from the soleplate. Wait until all steam has been completely released.
This appliance can generate steam in vertical position and therefore can be used to iron with a steam jet.
If the appliance beeps while the water level indicator light flashes while you are ironing, it means that there is no water in the water tank. If you wish to carry on with the ironing, please add water to the water tank. The beep will stop and the water level indicator light will go off.
Dry-ironing
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
Press the on / off button. The power light indicator will come on.
Adjust the temperature by turning the thermostat knob to the desired position.
Wait until the iron ready light indicator comes on.
Cleaning and maintenance
The appliance still remains hot after use. Allow it to cool down completely before handling it for cleaning or storage.
The appliance must be unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid. Do not put it under a water stream. Do not put the appliance into the dishwasher.
Do not use aggressive cleaner products. Do not use metallic brushes or sharp tools to clean the appliance.
When the ironing is finished, place the iron in vertical position and ensure that the sole-plate has no water stains that could accumulate and block the steam holes.
Release the residual steam in the boiler after each use. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Once the appliance has cooled down completely, turn the anti-calc valve clockwise. Pour water into the boiler and turn the cleaning brush to clean the boiler. Waggle the appliance softly and pour of the water. Repeat this operation 2-3 times. Once you are finished, insert the anti-calc valve back.
It is not mandatory to void the water tank after each ironing. However, it is recommended to carry our this action in order to avoid minerals to accumulate in the water deposit, ducts and holes of the appliance that may affect its proper functioning.
Keep the soleplate clean always.
Recommendations
Separate the clothes according to the required ironing temperature. Start ironing the clothes that require lower ironing temperature.
Some fabrics such as satin or wool, and accessories such as gloves, handbags, etc. will keep a like new look pressing the steam and iron button.
Marks left on carpets by furniture can be removed by steaming and then brushing softly. If the carpet is made of synthetic fabrics, a lower temperature will be suitable for the ironing.
A considerable amount of continuous steam is required to be applied on clothes to make them flat.
To remove creases, it is recommended to moisten the affected zone with steam and then proceed to dry ironing.
In order to get professional results, fabrics must be damped with steam and then dry-ironed:
- Place the iron at a 20cm distance from the fabric and press the steam button. Iron the clothes in circular movements so the steam moistens the fabric. Light creases require only a few seconds under the steam. On heavy fabrics or difficult creases the steam should be apply for a longer time.
- Check that the thermostat knob is set on the correct position for the clothes to be ironed. Release the steam and dry iron the clothes. The iron's soleplate will prevent the fabrics from wearing.
