General safety instructions
Before using the appliance ensure that the main voltage corresponds to the voltage displayed on the rating label. Always plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
In order to avoid electrical shock risk, please do not inmerse the power cord nor the appliance into water or any other kind of liquid. Check the cleaning instructions.
Do not use unauthorized accessories. This will result in cancellation of the guarantee and could cause accidents.
Do not keep the power cording hanging from the table or the shelf. Keep it away from hot sources. Do not allow sharp or blunt objects to touch it. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if you notice unusual operation of the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance operating without supervision. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it. Pull the plug, not the power cord.
If any repair is needed, or if the power cord must be replaced, please ask a aqualified professional or contact the Official Technical Support.

CAUTION: The appliance reaches very high temperatures while it is operating. Be extremely careful during its use. Avoid all contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

This appliance is not supposed to be operated by any external timer or remote control system.
Never use forks or sharp objects to clean the appliance. This could cause several damage and may cause an accident.
Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.

Do not use the appliance in an improper way. It could cause severe injuries. In the event that the appliance has been misused by the costumer, the guarantee will be cancelled.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Once you have finished using the appliance, move the knob to the OFF mark, put the appliance in vertical position and wait until it has cooled down completely.
Empty the water tank completely when finished using the apliance.
It is always recommended to empty the water tank to protect the appliance against accumulated lime deposits that could damage the tank or ducts. CAUTION: Water in the tank can still be hot.
It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water. Tap water may cause mineral deposits to be accumulated inside the appliance and therefore blocking its output holes.
Use the included water cup to fill the tank. Do not allow the water level to pass the MAX mark.
Long-range hot steam is released when pressing the steam burst button. Keep a safe distance when using it to avoid accidental burns.

Do not use the appliance in wet or humid environments such as bathrooms.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.
The water tank must be filled only if the appliance is shut off and unplugged.
Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with the soleplate.
Do not iron excessively dry fabrics.
Do not aim the appliance towards people when it is still hot.
Do not overfill the water tank. Do not add dyes or similar products to the water tank.
Always place the appliance in correct position and on a flat stable surface.
Never use the appliance on clothes that are being worn.
Do not use the appliance on zippers, broochs, rivets, rings or any other similar metallic elements. Friction with these elements may scratch the soleplate surface and proper functioning of the appliance may be affected.

WARNING: In case of improper use, injuries and loss of guarantee may occur.
Children must be supervised so they do not play with the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.
This appliance is intended for occasional use during trips or temporary stays. It is not suitable for regular domestic use.
This appliance should only be used in domestic environments. It can be used for commercial purposes in some cases:
- Shops, offices or similar working environments.
- Agricultural work environments.
- By customers in hotels, hostels or bed-and-breakfast establishments.

Before using for the first time
Remove all protective films that could be sticked to the soleplate or the appliance's body.
Clean the soleplate with a soft dry cloth.
Unwind the power cord.
Fill the water tank as described in the corresponding section this manual.

Plug the appliante in a suitable electrical outlet.
Turn the temperature control knob up to the MAX position: the light indicator will turn on to indicate that the soleplate is heating up. Once the light indicator goes off, the soleplate has reached the required temperature.
Turn the steam control knob up to the ON position. The steam will start emitting from the soleplate.
During its first use, use an old towel or cloth. Do not try to iron on a clean laundry directly, as the holes in the soleplate may contain certain residues that will be removed during this initial process.
Once the water tank is empty, the appliance will stop emitting steam and will be ready for regular use.

NOTE: It is normal that certain amount of smoke is released during this first usage. This situation is normal and will disappear with regular use of the appliance.
How to fill the water tank
The appliance must be unplugged and completely cooled down.
Ensure the control knobs are turned to the MIN and OFF position. Open the water filling lid.
Put the appliance in vertical position and tilt it 45^ .
Using the included measure cup, pour the water in the tank through the filling hole until it reaches the MAX level.
Close the filling hole lid and clean any rest of water that could have been spilled accidentally on the appliance's body.

NOTE: To expand the appliance's lifespan and improve its performance, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water.
Ironing guidelines
Sort the clothes you are going to iron according to the type of fabric. This will reduce the frequency of temperature adjusting for each type of fabric.
Start ironing the fabrics that require lower temperature and progressively follow with the clothes that require higher temperatures. The soleplate takes more time to heat up than it takes to cool down.

If you are not sure what type of fabric the clothes are made of, carry out a brief ironing test on the back side of the clothes. Start ironing at the lowest temperature and keep raising it until you reach the most suitable adjustment.
Wait at least 3 minutes before ironing delicate clothes. The temperature adjustment requires a certain amount of time to reach the selected temperature, regardless of whether you are lowering or increasing the temperature.
Use an ironing cloth to avoid leaving ironing marks on delicate fabrics such as silk, wool or velvet.
You may need to press the spray button several times before you can use the steam burst function.
Avoid direct contact with metallic, sharp or hard objects to keep the soleplate free from scratches.

CAUTION: The symbol indicates that the clothes must not be ironed.
Spray function
Press the spray function to spray water on the clothes as many times as you require. This function can be used at any time without interfering with other functions of the appliance.

NOTE: Ensure there is always water in the tank when using this function. During this first use, you may need to press the spray button several times until the appliance effectively sprays the water.
Dry ironing function
This function allows to iron the clothes without emitting steam.
Plug the appliance in a suitable electrical outlet.
Turn the steam control knob up top the OFF position.
Turn the temperature control knob up to the position suggested in the clothes' label.
The light indicator will turn on to indicate that the soleplate is heating up.
When the selected temperature is reached, the light indicator will go off. The appliance is ready for use.
Once you have finished using the appliance, turn the temperature control knob up to the OFF position.
Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Allow it to cool down completely.
Follow the cleaning and maintenance guidelines described within this manual.
Steam ironing
This function can only be used when ironing at high temperatures (at least from the mid position up to the MAX position in the temperature control knob).
Fill the water tank following the instructions described within this manual.
Plug the appliance in a suitable electrical outlet.
Turn the temperature control knob up to the MAX position.
The light indicator will turn on to indicate that the appliance is heating up.
When the appliance has reached the required temperature, the indicator will go off. The appliance is ready for use.
La During the ironing, the light indicator will go on and off in cycles. This indicates the thermostat is operating to keep the required temperature.

CAUTION: It is not possible to iron synthetic, nylon, silk or synthetic silk fabrics, since this could cause serious damage to the clothes.

Once you have finished using the appliance, turn the temperature control knob up to the OFF position.
Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool down completely, then follow the cleaning and maintenance guidelines described in this manual.

NOTE: This appliance has a built-in anti-drip system. If the appliance is used during a long period of time, the soleplate temperature may decrease. The anti-drip system prevents the water to leak from the soleplate during that time.
Steam burst
This function is suitable for heavy fabrics and pronounced wrinkles. By pressing the steam button an strong steam burst will be released from the soleplate. This function is available when the soleplate has reached the maximum temperature. To obtain the best results, allow a 5-second interval between each steam burst. Do not press and hold the button form more than 3 seconds to prevent water leaks from the soleplate. Allow at least 1 minute before pressing the steam button again. Deep wrinkles should be removed after a 3 steam burst treatment.
Steam burst in vertical position
The steam burst can also be released while holding the appliance in vertical position. This function is useful to remove deep wrinkles in hanging clothes, curtains or other hanging fabrics.

NOTE: It may be required to press the steam button several times to start using this function. While applying the steam burst function, do not iron if the light indicator goes off, and resume only if the light indicator goes off again.

CAUTION: Do no apply steam directly on clothes or fabrics that are being worn. The steam temperature is very high and could cause burns and severe damage.
Autocleaning
This function removes residues and minerals accumulated in the steam compartment. The appliance is better maintained if this function is used at least every two weeks. You can use this function more frequently depending on the hardness of the water in your area.
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet and that is has cooled down completely.
- Turn the steam control knob up to the OFF position.

- Plug the appliance in a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control knob up to the MAX position.
- The light indicator will turn on to indicate the appliance is heating up.
- When the required temperature is reached, the light indicator will go off.

Turn the temperature control knob down to the OFF position.

Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.

Hold the appliance in horizontal position over a sink.

Press and hold the autocleaning button while gently shaking the appliance.

The holes in the soleplate will start emitting steam and boiling water, removing the debris, lime, mineralas or scales accumulated in the steam compartment during previous use.

Release the autocleaning button once the water tank is empty.

Repeat this process if there is too much residues accumulated in the appliance.

Once the autocleaning process has finished, plug the appliance in a suitable electrical outlet and turn the temperature control knob up to the MAX position. This way the appliance will heat up and the soleplate will dry.

Turn the temperature control knob down to the off position and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet once the required temperature has been reached.

Slide the appliance over an old cloth or fabric to remove any rest of water that could have accumulated on the soleplate.

Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing it.
Auto switch off
While the appliance is in idle state, it will automatically switch off to save energy. If it is not being used, the appliance will switch off in 8 minutes in vertical position and in 30 seconds in horizontal position. Before it switches off, the red light indicator in the rear part of the appliance will turn on and will remain this way while the appliance is idle.
Cleaning and maintenance
The appliance still remains hot after use. Allow it to cool down completely before handling it for cleaning or storage.
The appliance must be unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid. Do not put it under a water stream. Do not put the appliance into the dishwasher.
Do not use aggressive cleaner products. Do not use metallic brushes or sharp tools to clean the appliance.
When the ironing is finished, place the iron in vertical position and ensure that the sole-plate has no water stains that could accumulate and block the steam holes.
It is not mandatory to void the water tank after each ironing. However, it is recommended to carry our this action in order to avoid minerals to accumulate in the water deposit, ducts and holes of the appliance that may affect its proper functioning.
Keep the soleplate clean always. You can use a woollen cloth moistened with a vinegar and water solution. The appliance's body can be cleaned with a slightly moistened soft cloth.
