1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct operation, do not use if:
- It has fallen to the ground;
- You notice any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance may not be used for other purposes than the ones intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as any manual modifications to the product will not be covered and automatically voids the warranty.
Assistance
Be sure that, in case of malfunction, you take your appliance to a qualified technician for assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities and/or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions on using the appliance safely and if they understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply.
Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.

- This scale must not be used by people having a pacemaker or any other medical transplant. The impedance passing through the body will interfere with the normal operation of medical devices.
- This scale is for household use only, it is not intended for medical use; we recommend not using it for medical purposes.
- Do not use on wet or slippery floors.
- Do not stand on the edge of the scale to avoid falling.
• We recommend that the disabled, pregnant women, and the elderly use the scale with assistance. - The body fat reading will vary depending on the amount of body water. The following factors will affect the body fat percentage reading: diet style, excess alcohol, excess exercise, certain prescription drugs or diuretics, illnesses, or the menstrual cycle.
- Remove your socks and make sure your feet are clean and dry.
• We recommend using the scale undressed. Wearing clothing will influence the accuracy of the reading.
- Excess dieting or water loss will have negative effects on the reading.
- Excess exercise will have negative effects on the reading.
- Unstable or incorrect readings are caused by incorrect contact with the metal plate. Clean the scale surface before stepping onto it.
- Keep still when weighing yourself; any movement will lead to inaccurate results.
• The scale is not suitable for the following groups: - children under 10 and elderly over 80;
- athletic or muscular body types (body builders);
- pregnant women, persons suffering from dropsy.
- For those groups, the reading is only for information.

USE AND OPERATION
2.1. Product Description

Select a number key from (1) / (2) / (3) / (4) and input your related personal data into the memory before using for the first time. From then on you can press (1) / (2) / (3) / (4) for a few seconds to begin weighing directly.
How to use
Before use, place the scale on a hard, flat surface. There are two operating modes.
Mode 1: Step-on mode
For weighing only, no body fat analysis. Just step directly onto the scale, your weight will be displayed automatically.

Mode 2: Switch-on mode
For weighing and body fat analysis.
Step 1: Switch-on and select the user number. Press any of the keys ((1) (2) (3) (4)) for a long time to switch on the scale and select the user number at the same time.

Step 2: Unit setting
When kg flashes: Press (1) or (2) to select the unit from kg, lb and st:lb. Press (3) to confirm

Step 3: Gender selection
When the is flashing:
Press (1) or (2) to select male or female
Press (3) to confirm ( = Male = Female)

Step 4: Height setting
When the height number is flashing: Press (1) or (2) to enter the height Press (3) to confirm Press the Unit key to change between cm/ft.

Step 5: Age setting
When the age number is flashing: Press (1) or (2) to enter the age Press (3) to confirm Press one of the keys for a long time if you want to adjust the parameter quickly.



When "0..." is displayed from the left to the right, the appliance is analyzing. Please do not move off the scale until your weight is locked on the screen.

Note: When "0.0" appears, stand with clean and dry bare feet on the scale. Your feet must be placed evenly on the electrodes. Do not stand outside the electrodes.
Error indication
- Batteries are low, replace the batteries.
- The scale is overloaded (150 kg).
- Incorrect use caused a body fat index error.

Changing the batteries
When the LCD indicates "Lo", turn the scale over, the battery compartment is behind the scale.
Slide the battery cover off, take out the used batteries and insert the new ones taking care to fit them in the right direction.

2.3. Maintenance
- Place the scale on a clean and level surface.
- Do not use the scale in extreme high or low temperature environments.
- Do not jump or stamp on the scale and avoid dropping it, as the scale is a highly precise electronic instrument.
- To prevent scratches on the glass panel, it is advised not to wear footwear when using the scale.
- When cleaning the scale, use only normal cloths, no chemical cleaners should be used to avoid any damage to the scale.
- This scale is designed for household use and should not be used commercially under any circumstances. The body fat percentage table is for reference purposes only.
- Please remove the batteries from the scale if it is not used frequently.
2.4. Troubleshooting
The scale powers off after a few seconds
Check the batteries. Make sure they are not flat and that they are fitted in the right direction. Make sure your feet are in contact with the metal plate.

a) The scale is auto zero setting. Please wait until "0" is displayed.
b) No parameters were entered on the scale; please enter your personal parameters.
The scale is only displaying weight but not body fat percentage
When measuring body fat, moving will interfere with the body fat percentage measurement. Please keep still when on the scale and make sure your bare feet are in contact with the metal plate.
The body fat percentage is much higher than normal
Please double-check your personal parameters for gender, height and age, make sure your feet are clean and dry and are in contact with the metal plate. High water loss, a state of excitement, or calloused skin will interfere with the body fat measurement.

If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact the Costumer Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
