Frequently Asked Questions - R910 Mitsai

Does the Mitsai R910 work with all operating systems?
Yes, the R910 is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux. It uses a USB receiver that is recognized as a standard mouse/keyboard device, so no drivers are needed.
How far can the pointer be from the receiver?
The effective range is up to 30 meters (100 feet) in open space. Walls and obstacles may reduce the range.
What type of batteries does it use and how long do they last?
It uses 2 AAA batteries (not included). Under normal usage, they last approximately 20 hours. An LED indicator will flash when batteries are low.
Is the laser safe for eyes?
The laser is Class 2 with an output of < 1 mW. It is safe for incidental exposure but do not stare into the beam or point it at anyone's eyes.
How do I pair the pointer with the receiver?
The pointer and receiver are pre-paired. Simply insert the USB receiver into your computer, turn on the pointer using the slider switch, and it works immediately. If needed, you can re-pair by pressing the pairing button (see manual).
Can I use the pointer with a projector or smart TV?
Yes, as long as the projector or TV has a USB port and supports standard HID devices (mouse/keyboard). It works with most modern projectors and interactive displays.
What do the buttons do?
There are three main buttons: Page Up (forward slide), Page Down (backward slide), and Laser (press and hold to activate red laser pointer). The power switch is on the side.
How do I clean the pointer?
Turn off the pointer and remove batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
What should I do if the pointer stops working?
First, check batteries and replace if needed. Ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted. Try a different USB port. If the laser is dim, batteries may be low. If still not working, contact support or refer to the manual.
Is the USB receiver stored inside the pointer?
Yes, the receiver fits into a compartment inside the pointer body (usually at the bottom or via a magnetic attachment). This prevents loss during travel.
