How do I replace the 4-in-1 high efficiency filter?

Turn off and unplug the unit. Press the latches on both sides of the front cover and pull it out. Unpack a new 4-in-1 high efficiency filter, replace the dirty one with the yellow side facing outward. Replace the cover. Seal the dirty filter in a plastic bag and discard. Wear a mouthpiece and gloves for safety.

How often should I clean the washable pre-filter?

Check the washable pre-filter every 2 weeks. Vacuum it or wash with clean water and let it dry completely before reinstalling. This helps maintain airflow and performance.

What does the ION/TiO2 button do?

It activates the ionizer and photocatalyst functions. The ionizer releases negative ions to freshen the air, and the photocatalyst (TiO2) helps decompose microorganisms. The light turns blue when active.

Can I wash the 4-in-1 high efficiency filter?

No, the 4-in-1 high efficiency filter cannot be washed. Replace it when it becomes dirty or as needed. Dust on the filter will affect performance.

The unit does not start. What should I check?

Ensure the unit is plugged in and the power cord is undamaged. Also check that the front cover is properly closed and latched. If the problem persists, contact service.

Why is the air purifier making noise?

Possible causes: the unit is not placed on a stable surface, or the filter is dirty. Check stability and replace the filter if necessary.

How do I set the timer?

Press the Timer button repeatedly to select 1, 4, or 8 hours. The LED shows the selected time. To run continuously, press until the LED is off.

What is the purpose of the UV lamp?

The UV lamp activates the photocatalyst filter to help decompose microorganisms (germs, bacteria, viruses) for a healthier environment.

How do I know when to replace the UV lamp?

The UV lamp may stop working after its lifespan. To check, remove the front cover and filter, then turn on the unit with the ION/TiO2 function. Look through the side holes; if no light is visible, replace the lamp via service.

What safety precautions should I follow?

Do not modify or disassemble the unit yourself. Unplug before cleaning. Do not use near heat sources or flammable gases. Do not cover the air inlets/outlets. Keep children away. Use only specified voltage.

Please read these safety precautions before using this machine to ensure correct operation. The cautions shown here tell you how to use this unit safely and prevent harm to you and other people. Furthermore, in order to differentiate between the magnitude and severity of the precautions, the effects that may occur if the product is handled incorrectly are divided into "Warnings" and "Cautions". In either case, all of these precautions are important to safety and must be followed at all times.

WARNING
Do not modify the unit. Disassembly and repairs should only be carried out by a qualified technician.	Unplug before cleaning, inspecting or moving the unit. Always grip the mains plug when unplugging.
Do not touch the mains plug or operate with wet hands.	Do not use mains voltage other than that specified. Do not exceed the voltage specified for the mains and the wiring.
Do not operate with damaged power cord or plug or loose electrical outlet.	Do not stop the unit from operating by pulling out the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Do not shorten, damage or process the power cord, or use an extension cord.	Check that there is no dust adhering to the power plug, and insert it securely into the electrical outlet so that it is not loose.

This unit cannot eliminate carbon monoxide. So if a fire is lit in the same room, ensure proper ventilation.

Do not use in places where chemicals may be drawn in. (such as hospitals, factories, laboratories and salons)

Do not wash the unit with water.

Do not mount high on wall or shelf.

CAUTION

Do not expose to oily vapours.

Do not use in an unstable position where unit may tilt or fall over.

The machine must not be allowed to ingest humidifier steam.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

If the unit will not be used for a long time, always unplug the power plug from the electrical outlet.

The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

To Operate

Power On/Off

After plug to power, push the "POWER" button to turn on the unit, meanwhile the display light on. Push the "Power" button again to turn off the unit, the display turns off.

Timer

Push the "Timer" button to select 1,4,8 hours or continue run (LED off). Each time when turning on the unit, the unit starts at continuous run.

Fan Speed

Push the "Fan speed" button to select Low, Mid or High speed as you want. When turn off the unit, the current fan speed status each time will be memorized automatically.

Ion and photocatalyst(TiO2)

Push the "lon / TiO2" button for this special function. The display turns blue when running ion and photocatalyst condition. Ion provides fresh air like in nature. Photocatalyst (TiO2) can restrain germs, microbe, bacillus and virus action. Provide you a healthy environment.

Replacement

Filter Replace

Please check the filter when using a period of time. If the filter is covered by plenty of dust or the color of filter is turned into filthy as the lable shows, the airflow and the performance of the unit will be affected.

CAUTION

1. Do not turn on the unit without using a filter.
2. Remove the plastic bag of filter before use.

The 4-in-1 High Efficiency Filter Replace

1. Please turn off the unit first.
2. Unplug the unit before replacing the High Efficiency Filter.
3. Please put on a mouthpiece and gloves.
4. Press the latches on both sides of the front cover and pull out the cover.
5. Unpack a new High Efficiency Filter, replace the dirty filter with the new one. The yellow surface faces outward.
6. Replace the High Efficiency Filter cover in right position.
7. Seal the dirty High Efficiency Filter in a plastic bag, then suitably discard.
8. Discard the mouthpiece and the gloves.
9. Remember to wash your hands with cleanser.

Warning :

1. The 4-in-1 High Efficiency Filter can not be washed.
2. Dust coverd on the filter will affect the performance. Please check the Washable Pre-filter every 2 weeks. Vacuum the filter or wash it with clean water and dry it.
3. Please contact Whirlpool spare parts department should you want to buy a qualified filter.

Check up of UV lamp

Note: The UV Lamp may turn out after its life.

The Lamp can only be replaced by our service departments. Never replace yourself with any other component that will cause damage or danger.

To check the lamb:

1. Turn off the unit.
2. Remove the front cover and take out the filter.
3. Replace the front cover only. Turn on the unit and press the ION / TiO ₂ button to turn on the photocatalyst function (the light show turns to blue)
4. Check the UV light through sideholes of the front cover. If the UV light is off then it should be replaced.
5. Turn off the unit, replace filter and front cover and call for service.

Note: To protect your eyes, don't look at the UV light for a long time.

Maintenance

To Clean the Unit

1. Before clean or maintain, turn off the unit and unplug the cord.
2. Air outlet may gather dust easily, please clean it with a soft cloth.
3. Never use solvent that could damage the surface of the machine.
4. In order to avoid damage, do not wash the machine with water.

Before Storing

1. Turn off the unit and unplug the cord. Store the power cord into the cabinet if you want. Be tender to prevent damaging the cord.
2. Clean air inlet, outlet and the unit, and vacuum-clean the unit.
3. Cover the unit to prevent it from gathering dust. Store it in a cool and dry place.

Power Cord Safety

Do not use cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage alone its length or either the plug or connector end. Call us for service when a replacement needs.
