USER MANUAL IAP-150 Imarflex

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the air purifier, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it must be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
4. Put the unit on flat stable surface, keep it away from the edge of counter or hang it on a safe place to avoid accident.
5. Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the unit and from the convenience outlet where the unit is plugged in.
6. Do not place on or near gas stove, electric burner or in a heated oven.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. This appliance is not intended to use by person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
9. After use, switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
10. Do not immerse the unit in water.
11. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
12. In case of malfunctions, please bring the unit to the nearest Imarflex Customer Service Center.
13. For household use only; not intended for any business purposes.
14. Save this instruction manual for future reference.

INTRODUCTION:

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:

Installation:

1. Filter Replacement

- Take off the bottom cover

Let the air ventilation face upside, use two hands hold the body by right and left sides, right and left thumb press on the two sides of clasps and then flip gently, the base unit will be taken off. Shown as the following picture.

2. Replace Filter

- Take off the plastic bag before using a new filter

a. Remove the filter from the unit.
b. Take off the plastic bag, and mark the date of first using on the blank place of HEPA filter by pen.
c. Install the HEPA Filter w/ Advance Carbon Filter screen first, then install the pre-filter. Advance Carbon Filter is upward (As photo shown in description of parts).

3. Install the bottom cover

a. Place the installed base unit horizontally. Let the top of base unit close to the base of the unit body, the clasps should point in the same direction as the air ventilation.
b. Press the near bottom position of unit body by right and left sides, except the thumb, the other four fingers hold the base unit, then all fingers of both hands held to palm with appropriate strength and install the base unit, press tightly the clasps.

How to Use:

1. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
2. Make sure that filters are properly placed before turning ON the unit.
3. Select the desired speed.
4. Turn OFF the unit after use.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

1. Unplug the convenience outlet.
2. Hold both sides of the front panel to remove from the unit.
3. Remove the HEPA filter.
4. Wash the base unit with soap and water.
5. Wipe the body with damp cloth or you can use vacuum cleaner to clean the unit.
6. Wipe and dry the parts and unit before reassembling.
