Safety interlocks


Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. Please keep the sales receipt for guarantee purposes (pls see below “Guarantee and Customer Service”) Any us which does not conform to the instructions will absolve IZZY from an liability.
- Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of the appliance.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when operating.
- Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children. Ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, children or those with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructing concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Switch off and unplug:
- Before fitting or removing parts.
- After each use.
- Before cleaning.
- Never use the appliance for any other use than indicated.
- The device is intended for indoor use. Do not use the device outdoors.
- The device is intended only for domestic use. Any other use will cancel the warranty.
- Always use the citrus press on a secure, dry, clean and heat resistant surface.

- Any repair made by a unauthorized BENRUBI Service Center CANCELS THE GUARANTEE.
- Any misuse of the device cancels the warranty.
- Use only original spare parts.

Before the First Use
- Wash the accessories of the appliance. See “care and cleaning”.
Using your Citrus Press
- Make sure the rotating shaft is placed on the base of the appliance.
- Place the juice container (5).
- Place the strainer (4) on top of the juice container (5).
- Attach the small cone (3) to the rotating shaft (7). If you want to use the large cone (2) attach it on top of the small cone (3).
NOTE: The notches of the large cone should snap onto the two wings of the small cone. - Plug in the appliance. Be sure to unfold the entire cord.
- Place a glass under the juice spout (6).
- Cut the fruit in half and place the one half on the cone of your choice.
- Press the fruit on the top of the cone. The device automatically begins operating as pressing the
fruit. The motor of the appliance will automatically stop when stop pressing the fruit.
CAUTION: Once you stop adding pressure on the fruit, the appliance will automatically shut down.
Notes:
- Don't press too hard on the cone or run for longer than 3 minutes consequently.
- To collect the juice into the juice container (5), lift the juice spout (6) upwards.
- Press the juice spout (6) downwards to run the juice directly to a glass.
Tips for Good Results
- Use only fresh fruits.
- Consume the juices immediately so as to reserve all the vitamins. Do not store the juice prepared in metal containers.
- Prepare juices using citrus as the base. Mix lemon and orange juice to make a power juice that is rich with Vitamin C.
- Enrich your cocktails with freshly squeezed juice for better taste.
- Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to your tea. It will enrich its taste and it will boost your immune system.
Care and Cleaning
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Disassemble the device by removing the cones, the strainer, the juice container and the rotating shaft.
Cones, strainer, juice container and rotating shaft:
- Wash in hot soapy water. Dry well.
Do not wash in the dishwasher.
Body:
- Wipe with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
Note:
- Re-assemble the unit before storing.

Important Information for Correct Disposal of the Product in Accordance with EC Directive 2002/96/EC

- BENRUBI Company guarantees its products for any manufacturing defect or defective materials for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase or delivery by presenting purchase receipt. If your product malfunctions or you find any defects, please revert to the retail location you have purchased it from or contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Centre. To find the nearest authorized BENRUBI Service Centre, visit our website www.benrubi.gr. It is in the discretion of BENRU Company to replace or repair the defective product.
- The warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear, breakage, scaling, improper installation or maintenance of the product, mishandling, abnormal working conditions, failure implement the instructions, conversion or repair of the product by an unauthorized technician who does not belong to the BENRUBI Service Centers.
Also, the warranty does not cover the following indicative factors:
• Stains, discoloration or scratches.
- Burns due to exposure to heat or flame.
- Damage from thermal shock (sudden temperature change or change of voltage).
