How to preheat the Vivax EG-5025 grill?

Plug in the grill and turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the highest setting. Preheat for at least 5 minutes without food. The heat-up indicator will turn off when the set temperature is reached.

Can I use both the grill plate and flat plate?

Yes, the grill has two sides: a ribbed grill plate for meat and a flat plate for eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. Simply turn the device over to switch plates.

How to clean the grease tray?

After each use, remove the grease tray, empty it, and wash it in warm soapy water. The tray is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.

What should I do if the temperature probe is not working?

First, check that the probe is fully inserted into the socket. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center. The probe is removable for cleaning and portability.

Is the whole appliance dishwasher-safe?

No, only the grease tray is dishwasher-safe. The main body and electrical parts must not be immersed in water. Clean them with a damp cloth.

Can I use metal utensils on the grill plate?

No, avoid using sharp or metal objects as they can damage the non-stick coating. Use wooden or silicone utensils instead.

How should I store the grill when not in use?

BEFORE FIRST USE

Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.

• Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
• Place the grease collecting tray below the grease outlet.
• Place the supplied thermostat in the connection of the thermostat.
• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 230V, 50/60Hz, 2200W).
• Turn the thermostat clockwise to the highest setting and allow the device heating at least 5 minutes without food.
• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odor will occur.
• This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.
• We advise to place a heat resistant coating between your table and the appliance (this way you don't get burns on your table or table cloth).
• Place the device in a well ventilated space.

Installation

1. Use Grill on open and dry places

2. Select a level surface that provide enough open space for the intake and/or outlet vents.

3. Plug your Grill into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency is the same as the voltage and the frequency on the unit rating label.

WARNING:

Do not install Grill in the closed spaces, rooms, over a range cooktop or other heat-producing appliance.

The accessible surface is hot during operation

USE

• Pre-heat your appliance on the highest level for a few minutes until the temperature indicator goes off.
• The heating plate should be rubbed in with some food oil.
• Use the temperature know on the thermostat to choose the desired temperature.
• The thermostat regulates a constant temperature. During cooking the indicator light on and off, this is normal, the temperature is always constant adjusted. Never use sharp objects on the grill plate, this will damage the anti-stick coating.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.
• Never poor cold water on a hot plate, this could damage the device and can cause splashing hot water.
• Wipe the inside and the edges of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
• Remove and empty the fat collecting tray after each use and wash the tray in warm, soapy water.
• Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof Be sure to unplug the appliance from the power supply.

STORAGE

Always dry the Grill before storing. Ensure the drip tray is correctly positioned.

Store the Grill on a flat surface on your bench top or cupboard.

Important: Before inserting control probe in probe socket, ensure the interior of the socket is fully dry. To do this, wipe interior of socket with a dry cloth or shake out excess water vigorously.

Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment

Ovim jamstvom jamčimo da će predmet ovog jamstva raditi bez pogreške uzrokovane eventualnom lošom izradom ili lošim materijalom izrade. Svi, eventualno nastali, kvarovi biti će besplatno otklonjeni u ovlaštenom servisu u jamstvenom roku.
2. UVJETI JAMSTVA Jamstveni rok počinje od dana kupnje proizvoda i traje 12 mjeseci, osim za Vivax Imago televizore (CRT, LCD, PDP) za koje jamstvo traje 24 mjeseca.
3. U slučaju kvara na proizvodu koji je predmet ovog jamstva, obvezujemo se da ćemo isti popraviti u najkraćem mogućem roku, a najkasnije u roku od 45 dana. Ako se proizvod ne može popraviti ili se ne popravi u roku od 45 dana, biti će zamijenjen novim. Jamstvo će biti produženo za vrijeme trajanja popravka.
4. Jamstvo se priznaje samo uz račun o kupnji, te uz ovaj jamstveni list koji mora biti ispravno popunjen odnosno mora sadržavati datum prodaje, pečat i potpis prodavatelja.
5. Redovnu provjeru, održavanje uz zamjenu dijelova koji se troše normalnom upotrebom, prilagođavanje ili promjene za poboljšanje proizvoda za primjenu koji nisu opisane u tehničkim uputama za korištenje, osim ako je za te preinake predočena suglasnost M SAN GRUPA d.d.
6. Jamstvo se ne priznaje u sljedećim slučajevima:

2. USLOVI REKLAMACIJE: Rok za reklamaciju počinje teći od dana kupovine proizvoda i traje 24 mjeseca.

4. Pravo na reklamaciju se priznaje uz fiskalni račun o kupovini, ili uz ovu izjavu o saobraznosti koji mora biti ispravno popunjen odnosno mora sadržati datum prodaje, pečat i potpis prodavca.
