- When the Personal Groomer is in use, please keep it away from the hair on your scalp, your eyebrows, eyelashes, as well as any clothing, brushes, wires, cords, shoelaces, etc.
- Do not use if you have allergic or sensitive skin that reacts to cosmetics, metals, clothing, ect, or with acne, warts, around moles and loose skin, diabetes, Raynaud's disease, eczema, psoriasis, hemophilia, immune deficiency, rosacea, couprose, varicose veins, wounds or when your skin has rashes or is sunburned, inflamed or irritated. Consult with your health care provider prior to use if you have any of the above conditions.
- Changes in your hormone levels (taking hormone medication, recently pregnant) can influence the color or thickness of hair growth. These changes are not caused by this product but due to hormonal changes.
- If you have any medical conditions, issues, questions or any sensitivity whatsoever, we strongly advise you to consult with your health care provider before using this product.
• If you have a pacemaker, consult with your health care provider prior to use. - If you are using the Personal Groomer to remove hair for the first time, we recommend doing so in the evening so any possible redness or irritation can go away overnight. We suggest testing the unit gradually over two or three days to allow your skin to adjust.
- When using a hair remover, you will feel a prickling sensation when using the unit. This is due to the fact that you are removing hair by the root. After a few sessions, the sensation should diminish.
-
Removing hair from the root can cause ingrown hair and skin irritation (redness of the skin, discomfort and/or itching). If you know that you are prone to ingrown hair, removing hair from the root may not be for you. Regular skin massaging with a massaging glove or loofah, may help reduce the chance or occurrence of ingrown hairs. After using the Personal Groomer you can use body cream or aloe vera to scothe the skin and any possible irritation.
-
Using an epilator may cause redness or irritation of the skin. This is a normal reaction that will quickly disappear, but may linger if you have very sensitive skin or are removing hair from the root the first few times. If any irritation remains for more than three days, discontinue use and consult with your healthcare provider.
- Sometimes inflammation of the skin can occur when bacteria penetrates the skin. Cleaning the epilation head before and after each use can minimize the risk of infection.
- The Epilator Head (Please refer to "Parts Description" section of this manual if needed.) can be used to remove single hairs from the upper lip and chin. Hold area taut and use a small brushing motion. Without holding the skin taut, it could potentially allow the epilator to pinch or grab the skin, which could cause irritation and skin damage. This device should not be used to remove hair on your entire face.
- Make sure to hold your skin taut with one hand while removing hair. Some women may experience irritation after removing hair from underarms or bikini line for the first time. We suggest testing the unit on a small part of the skin in these areas first.
• To preserve and extend the life of your battery it is recommended to occasionally let the charge run out completely, then recharge it.
• This appliance must be disconnected from the electrical outlet when removing the battery.
• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is discarded.
• The battery should be disposed of safely.
Safety
Note: This is a rechargeable device so it can be used with or without the cord.

- Before using the Personal Groomer for the first time as a rechargeable device, it should be charged for at least 16 hours. It is recommended that you recharge your unit for 8-10 hours after each use, so your unit is always charged when you need it.
* Please note the red charging light will remain on as long as it is plugged into the outlet.
• To preserve and extend the life of the battery, it is recommended to occasionally disconnect the battery, let the charge run out completely, and then recharge it.

Safety
Prior to use
- Please remove all contents from the box and make sure you have all of the parts and accessories described in the "Parts Description" section of this manual.
- Charge: The hair remover can be used with the adapter when plugged into an electrical outlet, or used without the adapter when it is fully charged. (Please refer to "Parts Description" section of this manual if needed.) Prior to using the unit for the first time cordlessly, the Personal Groomer needs to be charged for 16 hours. It is recommended that you recharge your unit 8 - 10 hours after each use.
- For Best Results: Take a warm bath or shower to open up your pores and use a loofah sponge in small circles to exfoliate and remove dead skin from the area you wish to remove the hair. You can use a loofah with any bath/shower gel or bar soap. Doing this before you use your Personal Groomer helps to make your skin pliable so removing hair will be less uncomfortable.
- How To Use: Use your hair remover in a location that has a comfortable temperature to avoid perspiration.
- Make sure that the areas you wish to remove hair from are clean, dry, and free from moisturizing cream or oil.
• After your unit is charged, remove the adapter plug from the bottom of the unit. If your unit is not charged, insert the adapter plug into the bottom of the unit then into an electrical outlet.
