Frequently Asked Questions - 721-490 Meec Tools

How do I clean the meat grinder after use?
Disassemble the grinder head, remove the blade and plates, and wash all parts that come into contact with meat in warm soapy water or the dishwasher (top rack). Dry thoroughly before reassembling. Wipe the motor housing with a damp cloth only.
Can I grind bones with this mincer?
No, this mincer is designed for boneless meat only. Do not grind bones, as they can damage the blade and motor. Remove all bones, cartilage, and gristle before grinding.
What should I do if the grinder gets jammed?
Switch off and unplug the appliance. Press the reverse button to clear the jam. If that fails, disassemble the grinder head and remove the blockage manually. Never force the auger by hand.
How fine can the meat be ground?
The machine includes three plates: fine (3mm), medium (5mm), and coarse (8mm). The fine plate produces a paste suitable for sausages or pâtés.
Can I grind frozen meat?
Cut meat into chunks and freeze until firm but not solid (about 1 hour). Do not grind fully frozen meat as it may damage the motor. Partially frozen meat grinds cleaner.
How do I use the sausage stuffing attachment?
Attach the stuffing tube to the grinder head after removing the blade and plate. Slide the casing onto the tube and feed the ground meat through. Use the food pusher gently.
What is the maximum operating time?
The grinder has a duty cycle of 10 minutes on, then 10 minutes off. Do not run continuously for longer to avoid overheating.
Are spare parts available for this model?
Yes, plates, blades, and other parts can be ordered from Meec Tools or authorized dealers. Check the manual for part numbers.
Why is the grinder making a loud noise?
Check that the grinder head is properly assembled and tightened. Ensure no foreign objects are inside. If noise persists, inspect the blade for damage and contact customer service.
Can I grind vegetables or cheese?
The mincer is intended for meat. Soft vegetables may be ground, but hard items like carrots or cheese can clog the plate. Use appropriate accessories for other tasks.
