Why won't my pressure washer start?
Check that the unit is plugged in and the power socket is working. Ensure the fuse hasn't tripped. If using an extension cord, try without it. Also verify the switch is in the ON position.
How do I use detergent with this pressure washer?
Set the nozzle to low pressure (OUT-position) and fill the detergent container with the correct water-detergent mixture. Apply to the dry surface from bottom to top, let it sit for 1-2 minutes, then rinse with high pressure.
What does the heat sensor do?
The heat sensor protects the motor from overheating. If the unit stops suddenly, allow it to cool for about 5 minutes before restarting.
How do I adjust the spray pattern?
Turn the top of the nozzle clockwise for a narrow jet or anticlockwise for a wide spray. For high pressure, ensure the nozzle is in the IN-position (fully clockwise).
Can I use hot water?
The maximum inlet water temperature is 40°C. Do not use water hotter than 60°C as it can damage the pump.
How do I store the pressure washer in winter?
After use, flush with clean water, remove detergent, and run non-corrosive antifreeze through the system. Store in a frost-free place.
Why is the pressure pulsating?
Air in the inlet hose, insufficient water supply, a partially blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or a kinked hose can cause pulsation. Check these components and ensure the water supply meets the minimum requirements.
What kind of water can I use?
Only use clean, uncontaminated water. Do not use water containing sand or corrosive chemicals. An extra filter is recommended if there is risk of sand from a well.

WARNING!

  • The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with IEC60364-1.
  • The power supply to the high-pressure washer must have a residual current device with a tripping current of 30 mA in 30 ms, or a device which disconnects the earth circuit.
  • This high-pressure washer has been designed for use with cleaning agent from or recommended by the manufacturer. Use of any other cleaning agents or chemicals may entail risks.
  • Do not use the high-pressure washer around other people who are not wearing protective clothing.
  • High-pressure jets can be dangerous if used incorrectly. The jets must not be pointed at persons, live electrical equipment or the high-pressure washer itself.
  • This high-pressure washer is not intended for use by children or other persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities that prevent them from using it safely, unless they are instructed or supervised by a person responsible for their safety. Ensure that children do not play with the high-pressure washer.
  • Check carefully that the high-pressure washer is not damaged before using it. Do not start it if any faults are detected
  • Check in particular that the power cable's insulation is undamaged and does not have any cracks. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
  • Do not point the jet at yourself or anyone else in order to clean clothes or shoes.
  • Risk of explosion – do not spray towards flammable liquids.
  • Disconnect the power supply before carrying out maintenance.
  • Water that has flowed through non-return valves should be regarded as no longer fit for drinking.
  • Disconnect the high-pressure washer from the power mains for cleaning and maintenance, and when replacing parts.

  • High-pressure hoses, fittings and couplings are important for the high-pressure washer's reliability. Only use hoses, fittings and couplings recommended by the manufacturer.

  • Do not use the high-pressure washer if the power cord or important parts, such as safety devices, high-pressure hoses or the nozzle, are damaged.
  • If an extension cable is used, the plug and outlet must be watertight.
  • Faulty extension cables can be dangerous.
  • This high-pressure washer must not be used at temperatures below 0^ .
  • Cable and reels must always be fully unwound to prevent the cable overheating.
  • Follow the requirements for cable length and dimension below.

  • Electrical connections must be kept dry and located above ground.
  • If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service workshop or similar qualified person to avoid hazards.
  • Always place the high-pressure washer on a solid and flat surface when it is used, handled, transported or stored. If the machine falls over there is a risk of damage to the casing.
  • In the event of an accident or breakdown, the high-pressure washer must be immediately turned off (rinse with a large amount of clean water after contact with cleaning agent).

NB

  • If the power supply is deficient, short voltage drops can occur when the high-pressure washer is started. This can affect other equipment (e.g. through a light flashing). If the mains impedance Zmax < 0.335 Ohm, no such disruptions are expected to occur.
  • The high-pressure washer must not be used by children or untrained persons.
  • To guarantee safety, only original component parts from or approved by the manufacturer must be used.

WARNING!

- Risk of accidents.

- Incorrect connection of the equipment's earth wire can lead to a risk of

electrical accidents. Check with a qualified electrician if you are uncertain whether the socket is earthed correctly. Do NOT alter the high-pressure washer's mains plug to fit in a socket, but rather have a qualified electrician install a correct socket.

- The following should be observed when the high-pressure washer is connected to the mains:

  • The electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with IEC-364.
  • It is recommended that the power supply for this high-pressure washer has a residual current device with a tripping current of max. 30 mA in 30 ms.

  • Only use uncontaminated water.

  • Fit an extra filter if there is a risk of sand entering the incoming water (e.g. from your own well).
  • Safety devices

- The relief valve can reduce the pressure if it exceeds the preset values. The spray gun has a locking device. The gun cannot be used when the lock is activated.

- Heat sensor: A heat sensor protects the motor against overloading. The high-pressure washer starts again after a few minutes, when the heat sensor has cooled.

  • The high-pressure washer is designed for private domestic use to clean vehicles, machinery, buildings, facades etc.

INSTALLATION

WARNING! The temperature of the incoming water must not be higher than 40^ C. The water supply must not have a pressure higher than 7 bar.

NB The machine is not suitable for connection to the drinking water supply. The high-pressure washer must only be used with clean water; use of unfiltered water or corrosive chemicals will damage the high-pressure washer.

  1. Put the switch in the "OFF" position (Figure 1).
  2. Check that the input voltage and frequency (volt/Hz) correspond with the specification on the rating label. If the power supply is correct, the high-pressure washer can be connected.
  3. Position the high-pressure washer as close as possible to the water supply.
  4. When in use, the high-pressure washer must stand on a secure and stable surface, as shown in Figure 2.
  5. Fit the water-jet pipe on the spray gun and rotate until the two parts are fully attached (Figure 3).
  6. Connect the spray gun to the high pressure hose (Figure 4).
  7. Connect the high pressure hose to the water outlet. (Figure 5).
  8. Connect the water supply hose to the female coupling (Figure 6), and then connect to the high-pressure washer's water inlet. The hose must have an internal diameter of at least 13 mm (1/2 inch) and must be reinforced. The water supply must as a minimum correspond with the high-pressure washer's capacity.

OPERATION

WARNING! Do not adjust the nozzle when the trigger is pressed.

NB

  • The motor only works when the trigger is pressed.
    • Under no circumstances use the high-pressure washer in potentially explosive environments!
  • The usage temperature must be between 0 and +40^ C .
  • The high-pressure washer consists of a unit with a pump which is enclosed in an impact-resistant casing. For optimum working position, the high-pressure washer is supplied with a water-jet pipe with a non-slip handle, the form and use of which complies with applicable rules.
  • Do not cover over or modify the water-jet pipe or spray nozzle in any way.
  • The high-pressure washer is designed for use with cold or warm water (max. 60°C); higher temperatures can damage the pump.
  • Do not use water that is dirty or that contains sand or chemicals, as this can have a negative effect on usage and shorten the high-pressure washer's service life.
  • The adjustable spray nozzle has two modes, high pressure and low pressure, which are adjusted on the nozzle.
  • Low pressure should be used in conjunction with cleaning agent.

HIGH PRESSURE mODE

The nozzle must be set at IN-position for high-pressure jets.

  1. Turn the nozzle clockwise as far as it will go until there is no distance between the nozzle and the base for high pressure mode/IN-position.
  2. Turn the top of the nozzle clockwise or anticlockwise to obtain the required spray pattern.

LOW PRESSURE MODE

The nozzle must be set at OUT-position for low pressure jets. Low pressure mode must always be used in conjunction with cleaning agent.

  1. Turn the nozzle anticlockwise as far as it will go so that the distance between the nozzle and the base is as large as possible.
  2. In low pressure mode, turn the top of the nozzle clockwise to fully open the nozzle.

NB The spray nozzle must be set at a narrow spray pattern, so that the metal blades at the very end of the nozzle are fully open and the jets are not restricted.

  1. When used with cleaning agent, the container must be filled with the correct mixture of water and cleaning agent according to the instructions on the container (Figure 6). The container is supplied with a hose which is fitted on the screw cap (Figure 7).
  2. To remove the cleaning agent container, first take off the cap and then pull the container upward and outward with one finger.
  3. Dissolve dirt by applying cleaning agent with the jet set at a wide spray pattern against the dry surface. Work from below and upward on vertical surfaces.
  4. Allow the cleaning agent to act for 1 to 2 minutes, but do not let it dry.
  5. Rinse off the cleaning agent from the surface from the bottom up.

START

  1. Fully open the water tap.
  2. Release the safety lock (Figure 8), and then press the trigger for a few seconds to remove air and residual pressure in the hose.
  3. With the trigger pressed in, put the switch (Figure 9) in the "ON" position.
  4. Always keep the trigger pressed in when the motor is started.

STORAGE

WARNING! Before using the high-pressure washer again, it should be rinsed out with clean water. Antifreeze can damage painted surfaces, so ensure that there is none left in the system.

  1. Turn off the high pressure washer.
  2. Turn off the water tap.
  3. Any remaining cleaning agent must be removed from the container after use.
  4. Release residual pressure by keeping the trigger pressed in until no more water comes out from the water pipe's nozzle.
  5. Activate the spray gun's safety lock.
  6. Remove the plug from the socket.
  7. Run the high-pressure washer with non-corrosive/non-toxic antifreeze before winter storage.

mAINTENANcE

NB The plug must be removed from the power socket before carrying out any maintenance.

- For optimum function, check and clean suction and cleaning agent filters after 50 hour's use (Figure 10).

- Remove the water-jet pipe from the spray gun and clean dirt from the nozzle opening using the tool supplied (Figure 11) and flush.

Disconnect the high-pressure washer from the power mains prior to carrying out maintenance or inspection.
