Safety information
Note:
Before connecting the AC power cord to the DC adapter outlet, make sure that the voltage designation of the DC adapter corresponds to the local electrical supply. If you are unsure about your power supply, please ask the local power company.

WARNING: SHOCK HAZARD-DO NOT OPEN AVIS: RISQUE DE CHOC ELECTRIQE-NE PAS OUVRIR
To avoid electric shock, never touch the inside of the LED TV/Monitor. Only qualified technicians should open the case of the LED TV/Monitor.
Warning:
Do not defeat the safety purpose of grounding-type. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding pin. The third pin is provided for your safety. If the plug does not fit, ask the electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not modify the plug!
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, and annoying interference, use the recommended accessories only.
Please read the below precautions carefully before operating the unit.
Power cord protection:
- Never use your LED TV/Monitor if the power cord has been damaged. Do not put anything on the power cord, and keep the power cord away from where people can easily trip over it.
- Be sure to hold the plug; do not pull the cord when disconnecting the LED TV/Monitor from an electric socket.
- Locate your LED TV/Monitor near an easy accessible AC outlet.
- The powers cable/disconnect device shall remain easy to operate/disconnect.
Placement:
- Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
- An appliance and a cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the appliance and cart combination to overturn.
- Never placing the LED TV/Monitor in areas under direct sun-light, with high temperature or with high humidity or high level of dust which may cause damages on the internal parts of the LED TV/Monitor.
- Place the LED TV/Monitor on a solid surface and treat it carefully. The screen is made of thin glass with a plastic front surface and can be damaged by dropping, hitting or scratching.
Non-use periods:
Unplug the LED TV/Monitor when it is not being used for a long period.
Foreign objects:
Never insert any foreign object into the holes on the cabinet of the TV/Monitor. Doing so may cause the danger of electric shock.
Keep away from water/magnetic fields:
- Do not expose the LED TV/Monitor to rain or use it near water source. If the LED TV/Monitor gets wet, unplug it and contact an authorized dealer immediately.
- Do not clean the front panel with Ketone-type materials, ethyl alcohol, toluene, acid, methyl, or chloride since they may cause damage to the panel.
- Keep the unit away from flower vases, tubs, sinks etc. if liquids spill into the unit, serious damage will occur.
- Do not place magnetic objects close to the LED TV/Monitor.
Stacking:
Opening in the LED TV/monitor cabinet are provided for ventilation. To prevent overheating, these openings should not be blocked or covered. Never use the unit on a bed, sofa, rug, or other uneven surfaces. Doing so may block the ventilation openings in the bottom of the unit. If you place the LED TV/Monitor in a bookcase or some other enclosed place, please make sure to provide adequate space for ventilation.
Servicing:
- If the LED TV/Monitor does not operate normally – In particular, if there are any unusual sounds or smells coming from the unit – just unplug it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or service center.
- Unplug the LED TV/Monitor from the AC outlet before any service.
- Make sure the service technician uses authorized replacement parts or their equivalents. Unauthorized parts any cause fire, electrical shock, or other hazard.
- Following any service or repair, be sure the service technician performs safety checks to certify that the TFT LED TV/Monitor is in safe operating order.
Please make sure that the following items are included with your LED TV/Monitor. If any item is missing, please contact your dealer.

(2) Remote control battery installation and cautions
Replace battery by following the below steps:
Requires one pair of AAA batteries.
- Open the battery cover as shown below:

- Keep the battery out of children's reach.
- Don't attempt to recharge, short-circuit, disassemble, heat or throw the batteries into the fire.
- Always replace both batteries at the same time. Never mix new and old batteries or batteries of a different type.
- If you don't intend to use the remote control for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent possible leakage and corrosion.
Notes:
- Do not drop, apply shock or step on the remote control.
- Do not spill water on the remote control.
- Do not use the remote control for other equipments at the same time
- If the TV does not operate even when operating the remote control from a close range, you need to replace the batteries.
Refer to the label on the back of the remote control for directions for replacing batteries.
III. Installation and connection
Connect the LED TV/monitor

- Connect the TVRF source with the antenna port. TVRF signal including: Receiving antenna /satellite TV/CATV net. You can use 75Ω coaxial cable to connect the outdoor antenna.
Outdoor Antenna Connection:
Use 75Ω coaxial cable plug or 300 -75Ω impedance converter to plug in antenna input terminal on the rear of the cabinet.

- Connect the audio sources (Including DVD, VCDR, CAMCORDER and PC) to the proper AUDIO input jacks 'L' and 'R'.
- Connect the video source to the VIDEO jack by RCA cable.
- If the video source has a YPBPR output jack, you can connect the signal to the monitor by the YPBPR cable.
- Insert the AC power to the DC adaptor, then connect 12V input jack from the monitor to its DC output jack.
- When using the LED as a computer screen, connect the PC to the VGA jack from the monitor by the relevant cable.
- If the video source has a HDMI output jack, you can connect the signal to the monitor by the HDMI cable.
IV. TV/Monitor screen operation
(1) Basic operation
- Press the POWER button on the unit on the remote control to switch on the power, the indication light will be in green color. Press the POWER button again to switch off the power, and the light will be in red color.
- The Picture setup, Sound setup, Previous channel can be memorized before you switch off the TV/Monitor. The TV/Monitor will re-start under the previous state when you switch on it again.
- Press the VOL - or VOL + button to adjust the volume output. Press the VOL - button repeatedly to decrease the volume; press the VOL + button repeatedly to increase the volume from 0 to 100.
(2) View the TV plays.
- Press the INPUT button on the remote control to select the TV function mode. Channel '1' will appear on the right top corner after channel searching is completed. Press the CH- or CH+ button to select the previous or next channels; or press the 0-9 buttons to enter a channel number directly, or press the -/-- button until the screen display '-' or '-' , then use the 0-9 numerical buttons to enter a channel number from
- ', then use the 0-9 numerical buttons to enter a channel number from 1 to 100.
- Press the ⬆ button on the remote control to select from the present channel and the previous channel.
- Press the PMODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available video picture modes from the below 4 types

(3) View the AV signal sources (VCR/CAMCORDER)
Press the INPUT button on the remote control.
There will be a menu displayed on the screen as followed:
Select the suitable input to pickup the AV signal.
Press ▲ or ▼ button to select source, then press

(4) View the TELETEXT program (Optional. If TV has this function.)

- Press INPUT button to select the TV mode. Then press the CH- or CH+ button on the remote control to select TV channel in order to pick up the picture signal of TELETEXT. (Firstly you must view the 1^st part of chapter V to complete the TV channel searching).
- Press the CH- or CH+ button to select the previous page or the next page; use the 0-9 numerical buttons and the -/- - button to enter into a numerous page.
- Refer to the chapter of 'Remote control reference guide' to grasp other functions of the TELETEXT buttons.
TEXT
Press TEXT button to enter into TEXT mode. Press this button again to return to the channel you are watching.

Press this button to stop the move to the next page, and the hold symbol will appear in the top left hand corner of the screen. Press this button again to cancel operation.

Press this button to select sub page, and the sub page symbol will appear in the left top hand corner of the screen. Enter the number of sub page and use numeric buttons in the format 0001 for subpage 1. The teletext will search for the sub page
RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE COLOR BUTTONS
Press these 4 color buttons to access directly to corresponding color page displayed at the lower parts of teletext screen.
(5) PC screen
Press the INPUT button to select the VGA input (TV into PC) mode. A 'PC' mark will appear on the right of the top corner of the monitor. The unit has a VGA jack for a normal computer. Connect the monitor with a PC by this jack and the unit can be used as the monitor for the PC.
V. Menu setting and adjustment
Note:
In this manual, the OSD Menu maybe changed and different from your real TV's screen shown without further notice, because this manual is just a sample to help you how to operate TV menu setting. Some item on OSD menu could not be operated based on difference input source signal.
First Time Step
Connect an RF cable from the TV's input called "RF-In" and to your TV Aerial socket.
OSD Language
Press ◀ / ▶ button to select the language to be used for menus and message.
Mode Setting
Press ◀ / ▶ button to select mode.
Country
Press ◀ / ▶ button to select the country you want to.
Antenna Type
Press ◀ / ▶ button to select Antenna(DVB-T) or Cable(DVB-C).
Auto Scan
Press ◀ / ▶ button to select Mode: DTV+ATV, DTV, ATV.

Auto Tuning Status
First tuning digital , press Menu button to skip digital tuning,
Second tuning analogue , press Menu button to skip analogue tuning.


1. Picture Menu
Press MENU button to display the main menu.
Press ◀ / ▶ button select PICTURE in the main menu, then press OK / ▼ to enter.


- Press ▼ / ▲ button to select the option that you want to adjust in the PICTURE menu.
- Press OK/ ◀ / ▶ button to adjust.
- After finishing your adjustment, Press MENU button to return back to the previous menu.
Picture MODE
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select Picture Mode, then press◀ / ▶ button to select.
(Available Picture mode: Standard, Mild, Personal, Dynamic).
TIPS: You can press PICTURE button to change the Picture Mode directly.
Brightness/ Contrast/ Sharpness/Saturation/Hue
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select option, then press ◀ / ▶ button to adjust.
Brightness Adjust the visual perception output of the entire picture, it will effect the iuminousness of the picture.
Contrast Adjust the highlight intensity of the picture, but the shadow of the picture is invariable.
Saturation Adjust the saturation of the color based on your own like.
Hue Use in compensating color changed with the transmission in the NTSC mode.
Color Temp
Change the overall color cast of the picture.
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select Color Temp, then press ◀ / ▶ button to select Standard/Cool/Warm.
Standard Produces a vivid image.
Cool Produces a gentle blue-hued image.
Warm Produces a red-hued image.
Aspect Ratio
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select Aspect Ratio, then press ◀ / ▶ button to select.
Full/4: 3 /Zoom1/Zoom2 To select the available display format.
Advanced Settings
Adjust advanced video features to fine tune the picture.

Music Preserves the original sound.Good for musical programs.
Personal Select to customize picture settings.
Movie Enhances treble and bass for a rich sound experience
Treble/Bass/Balance
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select option, then press ◀ / ▶ button to adjust.
Treble Adjust the treble effect. Increases or decreases high-pitched sounds.
Bass Adjust the bass effect. Increases or decreases lower-pitched sounds.
Balance Adjust the balance between left and right speakers to adapt to your listening position.
Surround Sound
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select Surround Sound, then press ◀ / ▶ button to select On or Off.
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select, then press OK / ▶ button to enter sub-menu.
EQ Setting
Adjust the curve of 7 bands equalizer.
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select EQ Setting, then press OK / ▶ button to enter sub-menu.

AVL
Automatically reduces sudden volume changes, for example, when switching between the channels.
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select AVL, then press ◀ / ▶ button to select On or Off.
SPDIF
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select Digital Output, then press ◀ / ▶ button to select Off / Auto/PCM.
Audio Description
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select Audio Description, then press OK / ▶ button to enter sub-menu.

Audio Description
Turn on/off the AD switch.

When the mode is On, Volume can be adjust by users.
Sound Type
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select Sound Type, then press◀ / ▶ button to select.
(Available Sound Type: Stereo, Dual I, Dual II, Mixed).
NOTE:
Balance: This item can adjust the speaker's output, it enables you to listen to best at your position.
AVL: This item uses for reducing the difference between channel and program's volume automatically.

It will search digital channels first, then analog channels.

The three colored key are the shortcut key for programming the channels.

Press the Red button to delete the channel.
Press the Green button to skip the select channel.
(Your TV set will skip the channel automatically when using CH+/- to view the channels.)
Press the Blue button to set the channel to moving state. then press ▼ / ▲ to move it to the position you want to put, and press Blue button again to done the move operation.
Common interface

Signal Information

Lock Keypad
Set to prevent it from being used by young children, or other unexpected usage.

New Password
Press ▼ / ▲ button to select New Password, then enter a 4-digital number you want to set twice.
Clear Lock

4. Setup Menu

Sleep Timer
Set a timer for the TV to turn off automatically.

Set Auto Sync to Off,then you can set the time manually .
Note: In the case of loss of power, the clock setting will be lost.
PVR Settings

It will check the USB .

5. EPG Menu
Press the button EPG in the remote control to enter EPG menu.

Press the RED button to display previous date.
Press the GREEN button to display next date.
Press the YELLOW button to see the setting you have done before.
Press the BLUE button to set the time you want to remind the program you want to see.
VI. Multimedia Operation
- Note: Before operating USB menu, Plug in USB device, then press INPUT button to set the Input Source to USB.
Press ◀ / ▶ button to select USB in the Source menu, then press OK button to enter.

VII. DVD Player Operation
A. Basic play
1. Turn ON/OFF the DVD player
Turn on the LED TV and then press INPUT button to select DVD source
2. Insert Disc into the DVD player slot
The player will load the disc automatically.
Note:
- Insert disc with the reflective data side facing the front of the TV. If you insert the disc incorrectly, you may damage the DVD mechanism. Some slight picture noise and some sounds are produced when the disc is loading, unloading and during playback, this is normal and can be ignored.
- For some discs, after loading the disc, you may need to press ▶II button or select from the disc menu to start.
3. Playing a DVD
Depending on the disc content, a menu will display for your selection. When playing the disc, you may use ▶■ button to toggle between Play and Pause mode. This also supports Menu, Title, Sequential and Program playback.
B. DVD Setup Mode
- Setup Mode provides the menu for the configuration of General Setup Page, Speaker Setup Page, Dolby Digital, Setup and Preference Page."
- Item selection in the Setup Menu is done by using the Navigation Arrows, DVD SETUP button and the OK button navigation buttons to select and play the highlighted contents.
Press the DVD SETUP button firstly, enter into SETUP menu, then press the DIRECTION RIGHT button, you can enter into the next Submenu.
- Press the DVD SETUP button again to exit the Setup Menu.
1. General Setup
TV Display
This menu enables you to select one of the three aspect ratios:
4:3 PS/4:3LB/16:9

4:3PS(Normal)
Normal Pan and Scan is used for most normal television broadcasts and it is the default setting. It has an aspect ratio of 4:3. If you select this setting when viewing a DVD, the picture will fill the screen but you will not see the left and right edges of the picture.
4:3LB(Normal)
Normal Letter Box will show the DVD in its original aspect ratio .So depending on size of your television screen, you could see black boards above and below the picture
16:9 (Wide)
Choose this setting if you have a widescreen television
NOTE:
● Playback screen size may be varied according to the disc contents.
- For discs with 4:3 contents, using any mode would only display 4:3 screen
- Screen ratio selection should be according to the connected TV or display aspect ratio.
OSD Language
Use navigation buttons to select LANGUAGE setup icon, press OK
button to confirm. You could choose the suitable language as displayed menu on the screen.

Screen Saver
Start the Screen Saver, the screen saver image will appear when the player stops or the picture is frozen for a few minutes. This saver can keep the screen from being damaged.
● On (Start the Screen Saver)
● Off (Remove the Screen Saver)

Last Memory
Can set the items on the last memory, "on" and "off" option.
Select “On”, the shutdown will shutdown the machine before the settings for memory, re-boot the machine settings. Set near the same time.
Select "Off", every time the machine automatically switched back to the default settings.
- On (Start the memory)
- Off (Remove the memory)

1. Audio Setup
Speaker Setup
In the “Audio Setup page” press ▼ button to select “Speaker Setup” item, press the “OK” button or ▶ button into “Speaker Setup page”.

Downmix
LT/RT
A disc recorded multi channel soundtrack, the output signal will be
incorporated to left and right channel.
- Stereo
A disc recorded multi channel soundtrack, the output signal will be incorporated to stereo.

Dynamic
This option is used to set the compression ratio in order to control the sound (Volume) contrast.

3. Preference Setup
You must press STOP twice to enter Preference Page or NO disc
TV Type
PAL
This is selected when the player is connected to an PAL system TV.
- Multi
The player will set the TV system according to the disc in the tray.
• NTSC
This is selected when the player is connected to an NTSC system TV.

Audio
You can play the sound in recorded list language.

Subtitle
You can set the subtitle to be displayed in recorded list language.

Disc menu
You can set the Menu to be displayed in recorded list language.

Parental
When playing disc with parental lock function, you may select an Age
Control according to grade of disc and you own preference. For example, if PG is selected, DVD Video disc rated higher than the PG grade can not be played.

VIII. Other Operation
PC audio in operation
This unit possesses PC audio in jack. Connect this jack to PC main unit with related audio cable in PC mode and adjust the volume to what you want.
Earphone operation
This unit possesses earphone jack. Connect the earphone with the socket and adjust the volume to what you want. Once plugged in, the speaker output will be cut off automatically.
IX. Trouble shooting
Should the unit no function, please check the system according to this table to find out the possible problem. If you still can't solve the problem, please ensure the product is repaired by qualified service personnel.

X. Notes
(1) Please read these operating instructions carefully before you operate this unit.
(2) When you want to cut off the electricity supply of the whole unit's power, please press the POWER button on the unit. And take out the plug from wall outlet.
(3) Don't press any button if you are not using the unit. Set the POWER button to "OFF", and take out the battery from remote control before long time non usage.
(4) Be cautious of the safe mark.
(5) Repairs are to be referred to qualified service personnel. Don't take apart it by yourself.
(6) Because of a sudden change in temperature or humidity, or when warm air comes into contact with any cold parts in the unit, condensation may form. When condensation forms inside, the unit may not function well. Once condensation disappears, the unit will return to normal functioning. Placing the unit in a warm room will help to dry up condensation. This should take 1 to 2 hours, depending on environmental conditions. As condensation may also appear on the disc, it should be wiped from inside towards the outer side using a dry cloth.
(7) Use a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use a solution containing alcohol, spirits, ammonia or abrasives.

To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. Do not remove cover, no user serviceable parts inside, refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
