Precautions and warning indications
- Use the car battery for the power source.
- First connect the negative terminal (-) and then the positive terminal (+).

- Never use the tester without fluid!
-
Do not press the power button if the probe is not submerged to the required fluid level.
-
Make sure the fluid level does not exceed the position TO THE LINE during the test. If an abnormal situation comes up during the test, terminate the battery connection immediately.
- Use the supplied test container to get accurate test results. Testing directly on the vehicle is also permissible if there is space.

- Clean the tester before each test. Cleaning: When the test is complete, allow the rest of the brake fluid to drip off the probe, wash it with clean water and wipe it dry. Do not dip the probe into water over the "To The Line" marking. Wipe the test container and syringe dry and carefully place them back into the supplied case.
Instructions
Voltage detection
- Make sure the battery voltage is 12 V.
- Connect the battery connection cable as described above with the car battery.

3. LCD display.

- If the battery is weak, the tester does not activate and the indicator lamp lights up red.
- Energy-saving design: After 1 minute without action, the tester shuts off automatically to save energy.
- Burn protection: If a test is conducted without the probe touching the fluid, "E-1" is displayed and the heating process is stopped. This is a safety concept used to protect the tool.
- If there is no action after the battery is connected, make sure that the battery connection cable is connected to the correct battery terminal.

Hand pouring green liquid into a glass beaker (no text or symbols visible)- Transfer the brake fluid into the test container (approx. 25 ml).

- Keep the probe in the container. Ensure the correct filling height! If the brake fluid is under "TO THE LINE" during the test, the data are inaccurate. Please repeat the test with the correct quantity.

Hand holding a handheld electronic device with a screen displaying a small electronic component (no visible text or symbols)- The indicator lamp lights up red in standby mode. Press the power button to heat the brake fluid and keep it pressed until the test is complete. It takes about 19 to 30 seconds.

- During the heating process, the LED flashes GREEN and the display (right) moves.
- The tester emits a short beep after the test is completed. The result of the boiling point temperature is shown on the LCD display.
- The indicator lamp lights up yellow when the test is completed. Wait until the light is red before starting the test again.
Display of operational failures
E-1: means there is no or insufficient fluid

Notes
If the tester is used without touching the fluid, "E-1" is displayed and the heating process is stopped. This is the security measure used to protect the tester.
② The indicator lamp lights up yellow and emits a longer beep.
③ Release the power button. TEMP> 320 °C / 608 °F fades out and only "E-1" is displayed. After approx. 1 minute, the display automatically fades out on the screen.
4 Reconnect the battery in order to use the tester again. If the problem persists, please contact our service center.

Display without pressing the power button

E-2: means
① either the voltage is too low (lower than 10.8 V),
② or the voltage is too high (higher than 15.7 V).
3 If the power supply is normal (between 10.8 V and 15.7 V) and "E-2" is still displayed during heating, contact our service center.

E-3: means
① either there is a problem with the probe
② or the connection cable
③ Please contact our service center.

Calibration test
- To check the accuracy of the tester, perform a water test with clean water.
- If there is no problem, the result is TEMP = 100 °C / 212 °F.

Evaluation
The temperature shown on the display refers to the wet boiling point of the brake fluid. It is a tool for deciding whether the brake fluid needs to be changed.
The boiling point should not be under the following temperatures:
(a) DOT 3: 140 °C (284 °F)
(b) DOT 4: 155 °C (311 °F)
(c) SUPER DOT 4: 155 °C (311 °F)
(d) DOT 5: 180 °C (356 °F)
(e) DOT 5.1: 190 °C (374 °F)
