Frequently Asked Questions - NorBreeze BISE 900 SS NODOR

How should I install the range hood?
Before installation, ensure no parts are damaged. Use the shortest possible air outlet pipe, limit bends, and maintain a constant diameter of 150 mm. Do not connect the air outlet to a flue used for other fumes. The appliance must be earthed (Class I). Follow all local regulations.
Can I use the hood in recirculating mode?
Yes, the hood can be used in filtering (recirculating) version. In this case, you need an active charcoal filter. The air is purified through the grease filter and charcoal filter, then recirculated back into the room via a hole on top of the cabinet.
How do I clean the grease filter?
Remove the grease filter by pushing its handle toward the back of the hood and turning it downward. Clean it by hand with warm water and neutral detergent or in a dishwasher. Clean at least every 2 months. After cleaning, reset the saturation indicator by pressing the timer button when the buttons light up (after 30 hours of use).
How do I replace the charcoal filter?
First remove the grease filter. Then pull the plastic tongue of the charcoal filter until it unfastens from its slot. Insert the new filter by operating in reverse. Replace the charcoal filter every 6 months or depending on use.
How do I adjust the light brightness?
The lights are dimmable. To dim, continuously press the light key on the control panel. Brightness ranges from 20% to 100%. Release the key to keep the desired level. A short press toggles on/off at 100%.
How do I change the color temperature of the lights?
Ensure lights and fan are off. Hold the TIMER key to turn on the light at previously set temperature. Then press and hold the Light key to cycle from warm to cold. Release to select. Exit by pressing ON/OFF key.
What is the timer function?
The hood has a 10-minute timer (key E). It also has an automatic shut-off after 4 hours of operation from the last manual action. For models with max capacity >650 m³/h, the speed automatically reduces from 4th to 3rd after 6 minutes of operation.
How do I reset the grease filter saturation indicator?
After cleaning the grease filter, press the timer button to reset the indicator. The indicator lights up after 30 hours of operation to remind you to clean the filter.
Is the hood safe to use with a gas cooktop?
Yes, but ensure adequate ventilation when using the hood simultaneously with gas or other fuel-burning appliances. The room must have proper air intake. Do not flambé food under the hood. Also, accessible parts may become hot during cooking.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard. Do not attempt to replace it yourself.
