How do I adjust the grind coarseness?

Turn the coarseness knob on the top of the mill. Turn clockwise for finer grind, counterclockwise for coarser. Adjust while grinding to feel the resistance.

Can I use this mill for salt?

Yes, the ceramic burr is suitable for both peppercorns and salt. However, avoid using wet salt to prevent clogging.

How do I fill the mill?

Unscrew the top cap (the knob) and pour peppercorns or salt into the opening. Do not overfill; leave some space. Then screw the cap back on.

How do I clean the mill?

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and dry immediately. For the grinding mechanism, run some dry rice through it to clean residues. Do not immerse in water.

The mill is not grinding properly. What should I do?

First, check if it's empty. If not, adjust coarseness to a coarser setting. If still stuck, the mechanism may be clogged. Clean by grinding dry rice. If issue persists, contact Eldom service.

Is the grinding mechanism replaceable?

Yes, the ceramic burr can be replaced. Contact Eldom customer service to order a replacement part. Installation instructions are in the manual.

Can I grind other spices besides pepper and salt?

It is designed for dry peppercorns and salt crystals only. Other spices may damage the ceramic burr.

Does the mill have a warranty?

Yes, Eldom provides a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Retain your receipt.

How do I store the mill when not in use?

Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep it upright to prevent leaks. Avoid high humidity.

Can I use this mill with wet hands?

No, keep hands dry when operating the mill to avoid slipping or damage. Moisture can also affect the grinding quality.

TECHNICAL DATA

- power supply: AAA batteries, 6 pcs.

OPERATING

The electric grinder MP9 is intended for pepper and salt grinding. Grinding of other spices makes guarantee terminated.

POWER SUPPLY

The grinder is powered with 6 AAA alkaline batteries (1.5V). Batteries are not included.

To fix a battery:

Twist the body (1) gently counter-clockwise and pull it up. Fix the batteries according to the symbols on the container. Place the body (1) photo 3 and lock it twisting it clockwise.

Used batteries should be thrown away to the containers specially designed for this purpose.

SPICE GRINDING

Pour spices to the containers (2) and (3). In order to do this, twist the body (1) gently counter-clockwise and pull it up.
To facilitate, querns are made of different colours. Grey in the container (2) designed for pepper and white in the container (3) designed for salt photo 4.
After pouring spices into containers, fix the body (1) photo 3 and lock it by twisting clockwise.

Avoid humidity. Do not grind the spice directly over evaporating plates since humidity may cause clogging of the appliance and damages to the drive.

Mill starts operation after pushing and holding the switch (5) or (6):

- switch "P" - pepper grinding,

- switch "S" - salt grinding.

- switch "P" - pepper grinding, - switch "S" - salt grinding.

The grinding thickness regulation is placed if the base (4) of the mill (fot 1)

- knob A: salt grinding thickness regulation

- knob B: pepper grinding thickness regulation

Do not change the grinding thickness when the grinder is operating.
