How do I fill the water tank?

Remove the lid, fill the tank with clean cold tap water up to the maximum level (marked MAX), then replace the lid.

Can I use essential oils in the humidifier?

Yes, but only in the special oil tank located in the base. Pouring oil directly into the main tank or base can damage the humidifier and void the warranty.

How do I set the timer?

Press the timer button (C) repeatedly to set the time from 1 to 12 hours. The display shows the set time. To deactivate, press until '00' appears.

Why is there no mist coming out?

Ensure the water tank is properly installed and filled. Check that the ultrasonic converter is not covered by scale. If scale is present, clean with 30% vinegar. Also verify the power is on and the humidifier is not in standby mode.

How do I clean the humidifier?

Unplug before cleaning. Clean the water tank and body regularly with a soft cloth. For descaling, pour 30% distilled vinegar on the base and converter and leave for 30 minutes, then rinse. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or immerse the unit in water.

What type of water should I use?

Use clean cold tap water. If your tap water is hard, distilled water is recommended to reduce scale buildup.

How do I set the desired humidity level?

Press the hygrometer button (E) repeatedly to select humidity from 45% to 90% in 5% steps. The humidifier will turn off when the set humidity is reached and restart when it drops 2% below.

Is the humidifier safe for children and pets?

The appliance can be used by children aged 8+ under supervision. Do not allow children to play with the unit. Keep hands and face away from the nozzle during operation. Always place the humidifier out of reach of small children and pets.

What does the night light do?

Press the night light button (D) to illuminate the water tank. The light changes colors randomly. Press the button twice to turn it off.

How do I turn the humidifier on and off?

Before first use, please thoroughly read the entire manual.

1. Connect the connection cable only to mains whose electrical parameters are compatible with the parameters on the nameplate.
2. Pay attention not to add too many receivers to one power circuit.
3. For domestic use only.
4. Place the appliance on a flat and dry surface.
5. Do not put your fingers or any objects into the inlet or outlet opening.

INTENDED USE

The NU30 ultrasound humidifier is intended to improve quality of air in residential premises.

USE

• Before use, check that the appliance is complete and undamaged.
• Do not place the appliance on a carpet, lining, parquet floor, or any surface which can be damaged by water or moisture.
• It is recommended to place the humidifier at a minimum height of 1 m from the floor.
• Fragrant-water additives (oils, etc.) for humidifiers may be used with the appliance. The oils may only be poured into the special tank (Fig. 3) located in the base (5).

NOTE! Pouring oil directly into the tank (2) or into the base (5) can damage the humidifier. This type of damage is not subject to warranty repair.

OPERATION

• Make sure the appliance is turned off and disconnected from the power supply.
• Holding the tank (2) with one hand, remove the lid (1).
• Fill the tank (2) with water to the maximum level - Fig. 4.
• Put the lid (1) on the tank (2).
• Plug the appliance into the mains, complying with the parameters specified above. The appliance will enter the standby mode. No function operates, and the line flashes on the display.

Turning the appliance on/off

The display (A) turns on after pressing button (B). The humidifier starts to operate at the lowest level of humidification - the fan motor runs. The humidity level is displayed.

To turn the humidifier off, press and hold button (B) – the appliance will enter the standby mode.

Changing the humidification level

The appliance is equipped with a three-stage humidification control. You can change the humidification level with button (B). Changes are indicated by the number of illuminated segments.

Timer

This function allows you to set the time after which the appliance will automatically turn off. The function can only be activated when the appliance is turned on. You can set only full hours between 1 - 12. To activate the function, press button (C). The appliance does not indicate elapsed time. Each subsequent pressing of button (C) extends the time.

To deactivate the function, press button (C) until "00" appears on the display (A).

Night light

Press button (D) to activate the tank illumination (2). The colour of the light changes randomly. To deactivate the function, press button (D) twice.

Hygrometer

This function allows you to set the humidity level from 45-90% in 5% increments. The appliance will start operating approx. 3 seconds after the settings have been fixed. The humidifier will turn off when the humidity level reached is higher than the set level. The function will be activated when the relative humidity goes to at least 2% lower than the set one.

Due to external conditions, there might be an error of up to approx. 5% between the actual and displayed humidity values.

To activate the function, press button (E). To set the desired humidity, press button (E) until the corresponding value between 45 and 90 appears on the display (A).

To deactivate the function, press button (E) until "00" appears on the display (A).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning, unplug the appliance.
2. It is recommended to clean the water tank and body regulatory.
3. Do not immerse the humidifier in water or other liquid substance.
4. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
5. It happens that in the base or in the ultrasound converter a scale is formed which can be removed by pouring 30% distilled vinegar on the elements and leaving it there for 30 minutes.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

1. Do not direct the nozzle towards a wall. The moisture coming out of it may cause damage of the paperwall, etc.
2. Excessive moisture in the room may cause condensation of water on window panes and furniture. If this is the case, turn off the humidifier.
3. Do not use the humidifier in the rooms where the moisture level exceeds 80%.
4. Use tap water to fill the tank, however in case of hard tap water, distilled water is recommended.
5. When the humidifier is not used for a long time, its washing and drying is recommended. Keep in a dry place.
6. It is recommended to place the humidifier at least one meter above a floor.
