What to do if the bread does not toast evenly?
The slices of bread may have an irregular thickness, which is normal. For a more even result, choose slices of similar thickness. You can also lightly grease the outside of the bread with butter or margarine.
Can I use metal utensils?
No, never use metal, pointed, or sharp utensils, as they could damage the non-stick coating of the plates. Use a wooden fork or a silicone utensil instead.
How to use the toaster for the first time?
Before first use, lightly grease the non-stick plates. Heat the appliance closed for about 10 minutes without bread to burn off production residues. Let it cool, then clean with a damp cloth.
What to do if the appliance does not heat?
First check that the plug is properly inserted and that the socket is working. If the indicator lights do not turn on, the appliance may be defective. Do not attempt to disassemble it, but contact a Polti authorized service center.
Can I toast foods other than bread?
The appliance is designed for toasting bread and sandwiches. Avoid foods whose content or coating may drip under heat, as this could create residues and pose a fire risk.
Does the warranty cover damage caused by limescale?
No, the warranty does not cover the effects of limescale on the product. It only covers material or manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase, upon presentation of the receipt.
Where can I find spare parts?
