Frequently Asked Questions - ECH/AG2-25003BEEEC ELECTROLUX

How do I turn on the heater for the first time?
Press the on/off button on the control panel. The default target temperature is +24 °C. During first use, a slight odor may occur due to burning of oil residues; ventilate the room for 10-20 minutes.
What do the different operating modes mean?
Three modes are available: Comfort (10-35 °C, orange indicator), Eco (deviates 3-7 °C below Comfort, green indicator), and Anti-frost (3-7 °C, blue indicator). Press the mode button to cycle through.
How does the Open Window function work?
When activated, if the temperature drops by 5 °C or more within 10 minutes, the heater switches to Anti-frost mode. If the temperature continues dropping for up to 30 minutes, the device turns off. It resumes the last mode when temperature rises by 2 °C.
Can I control the heater with my smartphone?
Yes, the heater has Wi-Fi connectivity (icon on display). To pair, press the ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon blinks. Use the compatible app (refer to manual) to connect and control remotely.
What should I do if the display shows an error code?
Error codes: E1 (temperature sensor failure), E2 (sensor short circuit), E3 (overheated, >+48 °C), E4 (ambient temp below -26 °C). Turn off the heater, unplug, and contact an authorized service center.
Can I use the heater in a bathroom?
The heater has IP24 splash-proof protection, making it suitable for bathrooms if installed at a safe distance from water sources. Ensure the switch is not exposed to splashes and follow local regulations.
How do I clean the heater?
Unplug the heater and let it cool. Wipe the exterior with a soft, lint-free cloth or damp sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For wall-mounted units, you can press the latches on the back to remove the heater for easier wall cleaning.
Is the heater safe to leave unattended?
Yes, it includes overheating protection (automatic shut-off) and a child lock (press ▲ and ▼ simultaneously for 12 seconds to activate). However, always supervise children and do not cover the heater.
What is the micathermic heating element?
The micathermic element provides additional radiant heat. To activate, press ▲ and ◻ simultaneously for 2 seconds; the micathermic icon lights up. It works alongside the main heating element for faster, more comfortable heat.
How do I install the floor-standing chassis?
Carefully turn the heater upside down. Attach one wheeled chassis to each side of the bottom, aligning the mounting holes, and secure with the supplied screws. Ensure the chassis snap firmly against the body. Then place the heater upright.
