Frequently Asked Questions - IAN 92026 AURIOL

How to adjust the Auriol IAN 92026 binoculars?
To adjust the binoculars, start by adjusting the interpupillary distance by bending the central body until you see a single image circle. Then close your right eye and turn the central focusing wheel for sharpness with your left eye. Next, open your right eye and close your left eye, then use the diopter ring on the right eyepiece to fine-tune sharpness.
What is the maximum magnification of the Auriol IAN 92026 binoculars?
These binoculars offer a fixed magnification of 8x, meaning the image is magnified 8 times compared to the naked eye.
Can the Auriol IAN 92026 binoculars be used for astronomy?
These binoculars are mainly designed for terrestrial observation (hiking, shows). Their 40 mm objective diameter provides good brightness, but for astronomy, higher magnification and larger diameter are recommended. However, they can be used to observe the Moon or star clusters.
How to clean the lenses of Auriol binoculars?
Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid any solvents or chemicals. If necessary, gently blow off dust before wiping. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the cloth with distilled water.
Are the Auriol IAN 92026 binoculars waterproof?
No, these binoculars are not waterproof. It is advised to protect them from rain and humidity. Store them in their case after use.
Can I replace damaged parts of the binoculars?
The Auriol IAN 92026 binoculars do not have spare parts available for the user. In case of damage, contact customer service or a professional repairer.
How to use the diopter adjustment?
The diopter adjustment compensates for vision differences between your eyes. Close your left eye, focus sharply on an object with your right eye using the central wheel, then close your right eye and adjust the diopter ring (on the right eyepiece) for sharpness with your left eye.
What is the minimum focusing distance?
The minimum focusing distance is approximately 5 meters. Below that, the image may not be sharp.
Are the Auriol IAN 92026 binoculars suitable for eyeglass wearers?
Yes, the rubber eyecups can be folded down to allow observation with glasses. This brings the eye closer to the eyepiece while maintaining the interpupillary distance.
Where can I find the complete user manual for the Auriol IAN 92026 binoculars?
The user manual is available for free download in PDF format on the website notice-facile.com for this model.
