How do I start the pressure washer?

Ensure the water supply is connected and turned on. Plug the power cord into a suitable outlet, unlock the trigger safety catch, and squeeze the trigger to start the motor. The unit will automatically start when the trigger is pulled.

What type of detergent can I use?

Use only mild, biodegradable detergents specifically designed for pressure washers. Avoid using bleach, acids, or solvents. The integrated foam bottle is ideal for applying soap.

Can I use the pressure washer with a water tank?

Yes, but a minimum water flow of 330 l/h and a pressure of at least 1 bar is required. For tank use, install a suitable suction hose with a filter (not included).

How do I clean the filter?

Turn off and unplug the unit. Disconnect the water inlet. Remove the filter from the inlet connection, rinse it under running water, and replace it. Do not operate without the filter.

Why is the pressure washer not starting?

Check the power supply, fuse, and that the trigger safety lock is released. Ensure water supply is on and the unit has been primed (bleed air by pressing trigger without motor). If still not working, contact service.

How do I store the pressure washer in winter?

Disconnect all hoses and drain residual water. Run the unit for a few seconds without water to clear pump. Apply pump antifreeze (or a mixture of water and antifreeze) through the inlet. Store in a dry, frost-free area.

What is the maximum water temperature?

The maximum water supply temperature is 40 °C (104 °F). Do not use hot water or connect to a hot water supply.

Can I replace the high-pressure hose myself?

Yes, replacement hoses are available as spare parts. Ensure the hose is compatible and the connections are securely tightened. Refer to the manual for part numbers.

How do I adjust the pressure?

The pressure is varied by adjusting the distance of the nozzle to the surface and by using different nozzles. The trigger gun also has a variable pressure control knob (if equipped).

What does the thermal overload protection do?

If the motor overheats due to extended use or blockage, the thermal switch automatically cuts off power. Allow the unit to cool for 15 minutes before restarting. Check for blockages.

- Proper use

This device is intended for the removal of rust and paint from metal surfaces. Any other use or modification to the device shall be considered as improper use and could give rise to considerable risk of accident. We will not accept liability for loss or damage arising from improper use. The device is intended for private, domestic use only.

■ Use only materials for the blast medium that are suitable for the sandblasting gun. Do not use quartz sand.
There is the danger of toxic silicon dust forming.
■ Take precautions to ensure that other people are not contaminated (dust generation).
■ Ensure that the spent blast medium is trapped and collected so that it can be disposed of in an environmentally compatible manner.
- Do not remove rating plates or labels - they are safety-relevant parts of the device.
If you are inexperienced in the use of this type of device, you should seek out information or training to learn how to handle it safely.

Operation

- Connecting the compressed air source

NOTE: Operate the sandblasting gun 1 only with cleaned, condensate- and oil-free compressed air and never exceed the maximum working air pressure at the device of 8 bar.

NOTE: The compressed air source must be fitted with a (filter) / pressure reducer so that the air pressure can be regulated.

☐ Connect the sandblasting gun to a suitable compressed air source by connecting the quick-release coupling of the air supply hose with the plug-in nipple 3 to the sandblasting gun 1. It locks itself in place automatically.

● Filling the blast medium container

■ Always use a suitable blast medium for your sand blasting work. NOTE: We recommend using a silica-free blast medium (e.g. ground blast furnace slag) with a grading of 0.2 mm - 0.8 mm.

☐ Ensure that the blast medium is completely dry and not too coarse. NOTE: The maximum particle size is 0.8 mm.

☐ Turn the bayonet cap of the blast medium container 4 to open it.

☐ Pull the blast medium container 4 off downwards.

☐ Fill the blast medium container 4 with the desired amount of blast medium.

☐ Ensure that the maximum capacity of the container (1000 ml) is not exceeded.

☐ Screw the blast medium container 4 back on and lock it in place by inserting and turning it on to the container lid (see Figs. A).

● Using the sandblasting gun (see Figs. B, C)

□ Carefully prepare the workpiece before sand blasting it. Clean it if necessary.

NOTE: Deposits of dust and grease can have a considerably detrimental effect on the result.

□ Carefully mask or tape off everything that is not to be sand blasted.

☐ Ensure that there is always a minimum distance of 20 cm between the sandblasting gun 1 and the surface being sand blasted.

Switching on:

☐ Press the trigger 2 to start operating the sandblasting gun 1.

Switching off:

☐ Release the trigger 2 to stop operating the sandblasting gun 1.
□ After you finish work, disconnect the device from the compressed air source.

NOTE: First disconnect the hose from the compressed air source and only then disconnect the compressed air supply hose from the device. This will ensure that the compressed air supply hose does not wave around in an uncontrolled manner.

- Cleaning

WARNING! DANGER OF INJURY! Always disconnect the device from the compressed air source before you clean or maintain it.

□ Clean the sandblasting gun 1 and blast medium container 4 after you finish working. Blow out the sandblasting gun 1 and the blast medium container 4 with compressed air.

□ Store the sandblasting gun 1 in a dry, enclosed room.

- Service

WARNING! Have your sandblasting gun repaired only by qualified specialist personnel using original manufacturer parts only. This will ensure that your sandblasting gun remains safe to use.

● Warranty

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not for transport damage, for wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for private use only and is not intended for commercial use.

The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.

The warranty period will not be extended by repairs made unter warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts. Any damage and defects extant on purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking the appliance, at the latest, two days after the purchase date. Repairs made after the expiration of the warranty period are subject to payment.
