Frequently Asked Questions - Tassimo Style TAS1106 BOSCH

How to prepare a beverage with the Tassimo Style TAS1106?
Fill the water tank with fresh cold still water up to the max mark. Place a T DISC in the holder (printed side down, tab in the notch). Close the brewing system. Place a cup on the cup stand. Press the start button. Preparation stops automatically. To stop prematurely, briefly press the button.
What to do if the appliance does not turn on?
Check that the appliance is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. If the LEDs still do not light up, unplug and plug back in after a few minutes. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
How to clean the appliance?
Wash removable parts (T DISC holder, piercing crown, drain grid, drip tray) in the dishwasher at max 60°C. Clean the water tank and exterior surface with a soft damp cloth. Do not use a steam cleaner. Follow the illustrated steps in the manual.
When and how to descale the appliance?
Descale when the calc LED lights up. Use descaling tablets TCZ6004. Follow the integrated descaling program (see figures 44-58 of the manual). Do not use a descaler containing phosphoric acid.
What to do if the beverage does not flow?
Ensure the water tank is properly engaged and filled. If there is air in the system, run a cleaning sequence with the service T DISC. Check that the float in the tank moves freely. If the problem persists, descale the appliance.
Why does the red LED light up?
The red LED may indicate an empty water tank, a barcode recognition error of the T DISC, or an obstruction. Clean the reading window of the T DISC with a soft cloth. Check the positioning of the T DISC. If the calc LED flashes, descaling is necessary.
Which components can go in the dishwasher?
Components suitable for the dishwasher are: T DISC holder, piercing crown, drain grid, drip tray. They must be washed at max 60°C. The water tank and service T DISC are not suitable for the dishwasher.
How to close the brewing system correctly?
